New topics page not refreshing properly

New topics page not refreshing properly as I have to manually refresh every few minutes.

What happens is the same threads posted hours ago are popping up again and again. I refresh and it's all good.

Anyone else?

There has been no change in my view of the fire hose page for at least a half-hour. Pressing f5 or the browser refresh button does nothing.

Site was recently off-line. Skeptic Overlord said it was now also only accessible for logged-in users. No idea if that is still the case but maybe they are still fixing whatever problem it was.



ETA It seems the new topics page has been fixed. Refreshing is now automatic again.

It's been that way for a few days now. Refreshing the page doesn't help either. I don't know what the problem is, but it was happening before today's sitewide problem.

It was ok but now back to not refreshing at all. The real stumper is that it keeps showing the same topics...from about 5 hours ago.

Right after I posted that it was fixed, it jumped back to old topics.

It seems to be working okay for me...and has been all day (I have been on and off all day).

So I don't know what's going on...I have no problems at all (now that I post this it will probably go to hell on me too :lol!

ETA: Scratch that...recent posts is working fine...but new topics is doing the same thing for me...I got confused for a second...sorry!

The funny thing is that when I refresh and start to read, the page refreshes itself and goes back to the old threads...ARRGHH!

LMAO No way would I fake a Doctor's signature! It's also a possibility I hadn't previously considered...

The frustrating thing is that it's this thread always coming up at the top:

"Padre Cicero The Dark Sun Prophecy"

(lost the link because the page refreshed again and now it's gone)
