“You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts.”
“Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky, We fell them down and turn them into paper,
That we may record our emptiness.”
Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”
“One day you will ask me which is more important? My life or yours? I will say mine and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life.”
“Let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.”

Very nice, and thanks for turning some of us onto such a poet. I never knew of his works, but the word balance comes to mind when reading him. I checked him out and his writings immediately resonated with me. Hope you don't mind me posting some quotes.

So beautiful - my cup of tea so to speak

WRONG!!!
This poem speaks of faith and its relation to religion and has nothing to do with "Love".
Love has done wonderful things to and for me, and it does not question or persecute me.
Religion on the other hand.

This quote brought me round to this thread, great stuff...
I never fail to see the " nothing new under the sun", but the ways that its not new amaze me daily....
Struggling with just being is sweet harmony.
Peace...

My favorite part of your post.
"And if you would know God be not therefore a solver of riddles.
Rather look about you and you shall see Him playing with your children.
And look into space; you shall see Him walking in the cloud, outstretching His arms in the lightning and descending in rain. You shall see Him smiling in flowers, then rising and waving His hands in trees. "
Trees...I love it!
