Sharing a stellar STOP SOPA avatar banner developed by member nenothtu from another thread...instructions below. (Twitter members were adding a STOP SOPA banner - for those of us who don't twit - here is one for ATS members.)

Set your current avatar as the "background", and this image as the avatar, and it ought to work out just fine. This avatar is transparent, all except the "mourning band", so the background image ought to show through it.

Thanks for this thread! I normally don't start threads, and have only ever started one since i joined about 3 1/2 years ago.

I'm glad you started this one, and hope the banner catches on. You're welcome to it - the more the merrier!

I see it more as a "mourning band" like people with badges wear across their badges when one of their own dies. In this case, freedom is dying as we watch.

Hence the "mourning band".
