For me, it's A-Rod....hands down.
I've seen compilations of some of the cheap tricks he's played on opposing players to get them to mishandle balls (grabbing it from their gloves,
shouting out to startle the fielder, etc.) and it speaks volumes of him as a person. A player of his skill and stature who has to resort to those
kinds of petty things to get an edge has no class whatsoever. Always has a pompous look on his face, too.
I take the greatest joy in seeing him strike out at a critical time.
His polar opposite in the game of baseball in former-Jay, and current D'back John MacDonald. He has a fraction of A-Rod's talent (except with the
glove), but is a class act and a great ambassador for the game of baseball.
You can throw in the Yankees for that matter as the team I despise -- always trying to buy championships...
