As if we didn't already know this, it appears that this is confirmed.

Homeland Security Monitoring Websites

I would imagine that we need to wave at the multiple DHS agents watching us now.

Scum will always reveal itself but this:

"blogs that cover bird flu … news and activity along U.S. borders … drug trafficking and cybercrime"

WTH? Bird Flu?

Are they concerned that we may stumble upon a few truths and non-truths?

Peace

No Enemies?
You have no enemies, you say?
Alas, my friend, the boast is poor;
He who has mingled in the fray
Of duty, that the brave endure,
Must have made foes! If you have none,
Small is the work that you have done.
You've hit no traitor on the hip,
You've dashed no cup from perjured lip,
You've never turned the wrong to right,
You've been a coward in the fight.

~Charles MacKay (1814-1889)

Thanks, Phoenix. I just have a bit of an issue with them monitoring social sites.

We're not on it???? Even Drudge is on it, for cryin' out loud. What's wrong with us? What a disappointment.

By the way, I'm not sure what's wrong with DHS, or anyone else, looking at open to the public websites. If I put something out there, I want it to be seen.

If they are monitoring all those other sites you can be guaranteed they are here on ATS. They just ain't coming out and saying so.

Why would they?

Great post, from what I have seen they are using the copy right industry to do there bidding, companies like Mark Monitor, and Cyveillance, they seem to use Google and 1e100.net to move a lot of LSOs and cookies to determine who is viewing what and were!

Bird flu blogs may actually help find and pinpoint cases, should they occur, in America. Monitoring this would help to control and perhaps eliminate the virus. given it is airborne and can pass from human to human, before it becomes a problem.

This would be the logical approach, anyways. I doubt they will get much information out of blogs, though.
