I don't know about 'quantum' levitation, but magnetic levitation works fine.
Course, it will be difficult to freeze the tracks (especially in the summer)

That was the response Eric Laithwaite got from the English government when he tried to sell them his 'maglev' idea.
It's been running in Tokyo for years, and more recently in Germany.
But to some people it's still 'impossible'..............
