Had a search on the forums, but not sure if this topic has been discussed before. Do need to have a further look into this. So how does this play out with Iran and the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran can push for military action agianst Iran, which in turn as we see is causing oil prices to go up throught the world. To me it's a case of were were all right jack.

Basis of agreement below.

Under a 1975 Memorandum of understanding, the USA will guarantee all of Israel’s oil requirements even in the event of a crisis.

Special legislation was brought in so Israel would not be restricted from receiving US oil exports.

Also come to light that the US Government has agreed to divert oil supply to Israel even if it means causing domestic supply shortage to the United States .

Just 1 more reason to hope for the israeli state to be crushed sooner than later.
Not that we needed another reason, as there were several already.

And don't forget we in the UK have a smaller Gallon than in the US:

1 gal(UK) = 1.20094 gal(US]

www.metric-conversions.org...

And if fuel had gone up in line with inflation it would be at approx 86pence a liter, not around the £1.35 per liter that we have to pay.

Why do we put up with this thievery?

Um no the UK gallon is larger. Look at what you wrote. It has been larger since I was a lad, but of course it could have suffered from cutbacks!!

per liter

And by the way we use litres not liters

Here in Ireland gasoline (96 octane) is the equivalent of $7.24 per US gallon.

And NAFTA guarantees the USA oil requirements. Even if we come up short ourselves. And it's cold up here. Good thing we have lots.
That should be renegotiated though.

I`m sure we can all agree that we pay a lot more than ever for a gallon of gas.

This thread is about the providing of Israel oil , even if it`s during a shortage in the US, Israel first , US second.

Business as usual between these 2 countries.
