just download it from torrent websites like i do, so you can have it permanently. and download realplayer, it allows you to download videos, and many pr0n websites are able to have their vids downloaded by realplayer downloader, similar to youtube. do this, and name the folder "Unknown Folder" and hide it in program files. Lol.

Worst.....troll.....ever. Maybe best troll ever, I couldn't help but feed it.

Assuming you're serious, it's people like you who are the biggest issue in this country, liberal or conservative. The notion to ban pornography would be insane by itself, and worthy of outrage. When you take into consideration that it's all a thinly veiled attempt to make Romney more electable, it's even worse.

By painting the party nominees as absolute wingnuts, Romney looks sensible to the independents who do not want to elect Obama for a second term. It also invigorates the percentage of the base who actually are wingnuts. That's vital to this party, since Romney's record pretty much looks like the bad parts of Obama's with very little of the good. Characterized by opponents like Santorum and the Crazy Lady, however, he's a prince. If you're moderate, he's not AS loony. If you're crazy, you have a better chance of Romney banning condoms than Obama. Both groups can then say I suppose I can hold my nose and punch the ticket." They talk about the "anyone but Romney" group, but what they're obviously trying to do is catch all of the "anyone but Obama" groups. Intelligent people such as yourself can say "he's not really doing that...duh." while zealots can say "Hmm...maybe he MIGHT just do that, and anyway, we know Obama won't."

I agree with you on the part about focusing on the issues though. As you implied, we have real ones to deal with. However, it's a little dishonest to ridicule the people who are targeted by a strategy that takes us away from the issues and kills real discourse, but give the perpetrators a free pass. Even if you are "smart" enough not to be taken in.

you know I don't think I'll be giving up that homemade porn I did of myself having fun with a variety of ex's and subsequently my fiancee. They won't be making my own personal videos illegal. It's pretty obvious if this information is accurate then the powers that be do not give a crap about the people they lead anymore.

Atleast we know what they stand for finally. Never mind the never ending wars across the world. Never mind big-government spending out of control. Never mind unemployment rates at all time highs. Never mind Americans losing their infrastructure due to NAFTA WTO, Hell no, we are going to worry about the oldest profession on the planet

This two party one headed system-game (Republicans & Democrats) by their masters has got to stop, not sure how much more insanity i can handle

Yeah the "moral" Gingrich who cheated on two wives and married the last one! All of this while he helped oust President Clinton for his indescretions when all the while that Bastard was doing the same thing! Gingrich fighting for family values! He DISGUSTS me!! I'm sure Santorum is GAY!.

I'm a gay man, and it's a proven fact that people who are so hell bent on being anti gay are THE BIGGEST CLOSET CASES!! They can't deal with their own sexuality so they take it out on the people who have accepted it and are leading productive and happy lives. I have nothing against Christians; I am a Christian; but these people who are so pious and arrogant just hate everything that doesn't walk, talk, or look like them. THEY are the ones that give good, honest, and loving Christians a bad name.

You shouldn't steal. The Governement hates competition.
You can't make porn. Only the Government can have low moral standards.

The power of a president is overstated. To make porn illegal would require the house and the senates approval. I seriously doubt they would ever get it, not to mention it's a multi billion dollar industry, and money is God in this country. So it's a nice sounding pledge to appeal to the ultra religious evangelicals, but not much chance of it taking flight.

LoL!

Occupy the porn begins now! We must camp outside every distributor and hustler store across the nation, providing free 25c viewing booths for all who attend!

Anyone know Ron Jeremy's phone number?

If porn becomes illegal, I'm predicting rape crimes will skyrocket. People will need to take their sexual frustration somewhere, it's not just gonna disappear.

Rape has been proven to not be a crime of "sexual frustration" but a crime of control.

Truth is if porn were to be taken away we would end up with LESS rape as porn paints the female in ways which are negative and as a sexual being without emotions other than enjoyment of whatever it is the man wants.

Porn portrays the female as always in the mood, without sexual needs of her own except the man's pleasure. In the porn industry the female never says no, never has the right to say no and is portrayed as always enjoying anything and everything sexual which the male wants. The female is generally portrayed as being submissive, reduced not to a human being, but to just the body and even further reduced to just the sexual parts of her body.

Generally the portrayal of women in porn is negative, and FEEDs into women as being only a sexual being without needs of her own, therefore it feeds abusive relationship and feeds the idea of rape being "ok".

I don't generally advocate for "more government control", but part of me agrees with banning porn and part of me doesn't. I personally am torn about this one.

Imagine a young 13 year old learning about "women" from porn and how that would interfere with his ability to view women as beings with their own needs and wants and rights. Porn warps a young man's mind into believing that what they see in porn is how women should be, it then warps a young woman into believing that is how she is "supposed" to be, leaving her open to abuse and rape.

When men view porn they become less able to have a relationship with a real woman, they become confused as to how women really are and then they are more likely to have failed relationships.

Truthfully though, I don't think the government has the right to try and step into anyone's bedroom. So?

I think instead of banning porn, we should have more sexual education for our young people to learn about real life humans and not the porn industries portrayal of woman. The portrayal of women is terribly warped in porn and can lead to negative views of women and abuse of women.

Basically? No government in our bedrooms, but lets make sure we give our young teens a healthy view of women and men to help balance the situation.

Harm None
Peace

Ya, porn is a lot worse than joblessness. o.O

It makes them feel righteous when they abstain from sexual indulgence.

Deep in their dark places they guard sinful desires.

These're not sinful desires. They're basic fundamental urges, sir. Ask a scientist.

IMHO, if people are stuck in porn then it hints at something else being wrong in their life.

It's like cutting off the hand that feeds you. They've learned to hate their own desires.

Anybody brought up in a religious setting will understand what I'm saying about this. Sexual desire is conceived to be a sin or an indulgence. It must be private and heavily moderated. Doing it for children is ok. Doing it because you love each other is ok. Anything else is too evil.

It's sexual repression, basically. Most people would be deemed minor criminals.

I'm an offender. I was an offender a long time ago. I was a christian too. Hated myself.

Of course they always act like they're in the mood...it's porn! And it's not an easy business either. I would post some links but I don't think it would go over well. I do agree there is some pretty harsh smutt out there. But there are more tastefull companies out there like LUST Films and Libido Films. There also InPulse's pictures, they're a little more hardcore but they're more tasteful than most and all three, unless they've changed over the years, are couple based. The business of porn has changed quite a bit in the last decade. You have husband and wife teams now. What's better than a real show of love with a dash of raunchiness.

As for rape, you gotta be kidding me. Less porn equals less rape. Gimme a break. That's like saying less horror movies equals less murders. One thing we gotta do is stop blamming the intertainement industry for people's short comings. If a 13 year old grows up to be a rapist, I'm pretty sure it's not because of porn. He had a screw loose to begin with. Look at Hollywood and Washington for instance and all the pedophilia allegations. They might not be all true but I'm sure some are. I'm sure they didn't all grow up in sexualy permiscuous or deprived families.

I'll say this at least. I'm positive that some of the porn companies are comprised of less that upstanding citizens that is a given. If you don't like don't watch. But the bottom line is TPTB want to controle every aspect of our lives and we can't let that happen. When will we draw the line in the sand and say this is enough.

People like you can't separate fantasy and reality and are in constant fear. It's your inability to see the difference and separate them that causes your intense reaction to porn.

People who like horror films don't want RL to be horror. I wrote a post about this a while ago.

Look at all of the apocalypse movies. People don't want those things to be real.

The things I like in porn I DO NOT WANT TO BE REAL. Get it yet?

I've killed sh** in games. Does that mean I want to kill sh** in RL?

I've purged whole civilizations in games. In RL terms, you'd conclude I was an psychopath egomaniac. That's because you cannot separate reality from fiction. YOu're incapable.

Honestly, you sound like a person who's still a noob to porn and fantasy.

To go further, I have to wonder if you even know what fantasy is.

I read fiction all the time. BUT I DON'T WANT IT TO BE REAL. Get it?

I'm reading Congo (Micheal Crichton), The Unexpected Universe (Loren Eiseley), A Science Fiction Argosy (Damon Knight). I just got done reading The Robots of Dawn (Isaac Asimov), The Patient (Michael Palmer), The Presence (John Saul), The Hobbit (Tolkien). That's a small sampling from the past few months. There have been terrorists who killed people to get access to brain surgeons, telepathic robots, cold corporate murderers that do experiments on innocent people, careless hobbit coming of age and confronting magical and dangerous things, and so on. None of that do I want to be real. It's the joy of the journey and discovery. The changing plots and characters.

I would say grow up but it would be misplaced. Porn is like a toilet. Not worth discussing.

Don't be simpleminded, that's all I'm asking.

You want to fix somebody stuck on porn? Focus on their other shortcomings. A lot of people get stuck on things because another part of their life is out of balance.

IMHO, porn fills a void. Until we make everybody perfect, porn will remain.

I would say the porn which breaks basic laws and human rights should be banned. But what does human rights mean? By my definition, anybody working over 40 hours is not being treated right. So if I were caesar, I lot of companies would be banned and/or crushed under the weight of my rule. Thus we have to try to keep things simple and consensus built to guard against that.

But people of age that willingly participate to make legal porn? Sure. I might not like it, but I have the choice to not see it. The internet does pose a challenge as a unwatched connection allows virtually anybody to see obscene things; of all kinds. This is similar to stepping outside and watching a naked mean pass by fondling his same-sex lover. Or it's like an underage kid walking freely into a sex store and everybody just minding their own business. So that should be looked at. Freedom is good until it's unwatched, generally. It's the nature of our chaotic universe.

Those who want to take choice away from others do not have THEM in mind.

When will we ban stupidity? I read a quote that we'll never figure out the religious mind because it's not based on logic. Can't remember who did that one. But what about fear mongers? Can we ban them? How many wars are they responsible for? How many needless losses of life? How much lost time and money? What about government propaganda? Can we ban that too?

Lets ban anybody who makes a false statement in business. If you have a company and you say that your product is 32% efficient but it's actually only 21% then you should be banned. Or if you say "Well made and and environemntally friendly" but it turns out these're untrue claims then you can be banned. Or if you say "Healthy and great tasting!" and is not true then you're banned.
