This is absolutely ridiculous. Aside from the obvious point of "Who are they to say what we do on our bedrooms" and the blatant censorship, how on earth is this going to improve society?

Think about it, there have got to be deviants out in the world who are playing out their potentially sick fantasies by viewing pornography in the safety of their homes. If we take away their outlet then I worry that they may feel it necessary to fulfill their needs out in the public! One could speculate an increase in sexual crimes in that instance.

The government cannot force morality on the citizens. Sexuality wasn't even considered "evil" until the church deemed it so...

Everyday something else pops up and causes me to violently shake my head. I'd love to see how 2012 plays out if I don't end up with brain damage first.

Well bud, I am way anti gay marriage however porn does not do it for me. This just may be a ploy to discredit more of Pauls followers by calling them all kinds of names. I think the best thing to do about this is pay no attention to it, so we are not to give credit to it. There is an agenda here and it is not porn IMO.

I do kinda take offense by comparing someone that is anti gay to a porn freak but that is your right to make that stereotype/assumption.

Thanx for the heads up tho.

Porn already is illegal. The companies have loopholes for their loopholes.

Moot point Romney, Gingrich and Santorum. Here's a novel idea, how about you come up with a solution to our trillions in debt, please and thanks.

Page after page of indignation and rage over something that's never going to happen. That's liberals.

If they'd only invest this much time in real issues.

I feel your pain. I'm involved in another thread with pages and pages of people in a rage and indignation over the death of babies in war, but these same folks couldn't care less that we've killed over 60 million babies in their mother's wombs in the last 40 or so years.

Look at the state of the world, the state of your country, and this is what they are talking about? Not the economy, not the corruption in politics, not the unemployment, not the corruption in corporations and greed of bankers. No, they are talking about what people get up to in private.

You are all screwed, Americans. And you'll drag the rest of the world down with you, well whats left of it after you and your allies have finished decimating it for the last of the resources.

On a serious note though...

I do think it's a problem that porn is so easily and readily accessible on the internet,
but banning it outright is unconstiutional and let's be real here,
the porn industry- and my bet neither will much of the entertainment industry- will NEVER let this fly: the porn industry won't, for obvious reasons...and the entertainment industry, because of the slippery slope.

I say let baby have his bottle...

but websites should be more responsible/accountable for regulating viewers-verifying age.
(I understand this is a tricky issue though...and I don't have the answer unfortunately...but, then again, that's what the experts and lawyers are for right?)

More importantly though on this issue-
PARENTS NEED TO DO THEIR DAMN JOBS.
It's ultimately their responsibility.

But for grown adults,
the government shoving unconstitutional laws down their throats (um....no pun intended! eek! lol),
well, that's definitely not the way to go about this issue.

TIRED OF THIS BS BIG GOVERNMENT.
From both sides of the political spectrum.

What a bunch of crap. Why are these people against porn? Are they serious or just joking? I dont know why anyone would want to ban porn. This is absolutely silly if not disturbing.

It belittles and demean womanhood,

I guess then you haven't seen male porn, gay porn, midget porn, BBW porn, MILF porn, Amateur porn etc etc.

espacially, when most them had been forced or enticed unconscionably into it.

Not true. Porn stars go into the industry for the limelight, money and sometimes because they enjoy sex. There are several female porn stars who dont make cut for Hollywood and then join porn industry as to stay in limelight.

We all came from women, without them, none of us would exists. Womanhood do deserves and must be respected.

I'd like too believe men have a role in that too without which it would not be possible.

That doesn't stop children from seeing pornography. Many sites have nudity and trial trailers of videos on their main page before anyone even makes an attempt to log into that site.

Ok no one seems to touching on this subject at all...

I do not think porn should be banned but I do think the porn industry needs to change its ways.

This is for the benefit of the pornstar's health.

In an industry where only 7% of male performers use condoms having an STD test per month seems crazy to me and women ARE treated badly, perhaps not the ones in the top tier as they are so profitable to their companies but most girls that get into porn quit after their first scene.

STD tests in many cases have to be paid for by the actors themselves.

The sets they film in are hardly cleaned, so for instance if they are shooting a scene on a sofa, that sofa will stink like sweat, cum and well sh*t too, the cloths they use to clean sweat/cum/squirt are not cleaned, they are thrown in a corner until they need to be used again.

Male actors are now encouraged to "do them" as hard as possible, before girls could say: "it hurts, softer, slow down" to which the male actor had to comply, now is the opposite and if the girl does not look like shes loving it they cut until she looks like a kid on Christmas morning, a 20-30 min scene can take over 8 hrs to shoot.

Porn is changing men and what they think is required in the bedroom, specially teenagers, they now think that being good in bed means doing it like in porn, as hard and fast as possible... this is coming from girl's testimonies, satisfying women is 2nd.

AS I said, I do not think it should be banned but at the moment it seems to be on a path of making it more and more shocking, filthy and slutty which is affecting younger viewers and also the conditions for the pornstars are dangerous.

These are not my views, these are the views of retired pornstars who are coming out exposing the industry, you can find many statements on youtube.

Thank you.

They certainly don't want to defeat Obama do they...

Honestly though they were probably just pandering to Bible thumpers, happens all the time.

Everyone knows Politicans can't be trusted but when it comes to matters of sex and sexuality, doubly so and make them a Republican? mulitply the hypocracy factor by 10.

Sex of some sort (be it cell division or whatever) has kept the species going since life first popped its randy head on the scene.
