The United States has launched its first drone attack in Pakistan after more than a month-long lull, killing at least four suspected militants, CNN has confirmed.

It represents an apparent end to the pause in U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan, halted last year after a set of controversial American strikes left two dozen Pakistani soldiers dead at two mountainous border posts and further strained relations between the two nations.

Pakistan's military has repeatedly insisted that airstrikes that killed 24 of its soldiers on November 26 near the Afghan border were deliberate. Its government s

I thought the era of Drone strikes in Pakistan was over, since the US Military packed up and left the border region area?...

I recall the Pakistani government giving the US a final warning in regards to any strike within it's borders or face retatliation from their military on any and all US targets? Hmmm.. Guess they were not quick enough to notice the drones slip in and out.

Who knows those? This may be one of the strikes negotiated with the ISI and the US decided it would be easier if they led the attack then the Pakistani military?

I'll update this thread accordingly.
