Because some people are deranged & know it.

i recognized it as native american and it rings true with other teachings and is a fantastic peice...

The Buddha said:
we are what we think

all that we are arises with our thoughts .
with our thoughts we make the world.

speak or act with an impure mind and trouble will follow you as the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.

we are what we think.
all that we are arises with our thoughts.
speak or act with a pure mind
and happiness will follow you as your shadow, unshakeable

The Native Americans were very wise. A great loss to us that so much wisdom was lost during the European invasion of North America.

Thanks so much for the quote, Advisor.

ok well I just posted a quick reply but then noticed it was in conspiracies in religion section and it is a bloody conspiracy..

so much waffle about christianity etc and there is not enough about Indian or Aboriginal beliefs and I actually feel there is more substance to these belief systems rather than the others...

and yet, people are ear bashed with current beliefs and everyone celebrates xmas...well stuff it, I am celebrating Hiawatha's birth instead.
