Anonymous targets Finland over anti-piracy efforts

Cyber-activists attacked the websites of Finnish anti-piracy groups after a local Internet service provider was forced to block access to a popular file-sharing website, officials said Tuesday.
Antti Kotilainen, a spokesman for the Copyright Information and Anti-Piracy Centre (CIAPC), told AFP that websites run by his organisation and the International Federation of the Pornography Industry (IFPI) had been "down since Monday".
"It isn't the first time this has happened ... We have no precise information who is behind this," he added.

Anonymous Finland is ridiculous. Anonymous is not for practicing terrorism, Greenpeace is for that. They/He uses fear tactic. This doesn't hurt the 1%, but 99%. Now they are thread for public safety. Thank god they don't usually do anything after all, just threat. This will give Anonymous bad name.

CIAPC: According to a bomb threat was sent via e-mail last night, a hacker group Anonymouksen name. Helsinki police violent crime unit will examine the origin of a message. Detective Superintendent Juha Rautaheimo evaluate STT, that the threat may be false.

I agree.
As a Finn, i find the whole thing ridiculous.
There are more important matters that need to be addressed in this country,
like the judicial system for starters.
