A big explosion occured in North Korea.

SEOUL (Reuters) - A huge explosion rocked an area in North Korea near the border with China three days ago and the accident appears to be much worse than a train blast that killed at least 170 people in April.

Is this related to the nuclear test report that North Korea is said to be preparing?

I doubt we will ever know the truth considering the secrecy that comes from North Korea.

Channel NewsAsia: Large explosion in North Korea last week: report

"SEOUL : A large explosion rocked North Korea's northern inland province of Ryanggang last week, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said.

The explosion appeared to be stronger than an April 22 blast that killed more than 150 people and wounded some 1,300 others in Ryongchon near the western tip of North Korea's border with China, it said Sunday.

The latest blast took place in Kimhyungjik county near the Chinese border on September 9, when North Korea marked the 56th anniversary of its founding, Yonhap said, citing an unnamed source in Beijing.

It did not provide further details on the blast or say if there had been any casualties."

It doesnt say much, but a little more...
So..., They celebrated their 56th anniversary with a "little" blast, or what?...

Much more here:

Big Blast, Mushroom Cloud Reported in N.Korea

"Yonhap quoted other unnamed officials as saying it was probably not an accident, although it also quoted one source in Washington as saying it was unlikely to have been a nuclear test. It quoted another source as saying it could be a forest fire."

A forest fire!! Yeah right. They think were stupid?

www.abovetopsecret.com... While this post seems to have been first to report, the above link is the more active news thread, and was initiated in the proper news format. The author has received 1000 points to compensate, but this thread is closed in favor of the other. (sorry, format matters
