I can't believe you people call this fake because of the JPEG compression distortion around the image.

There is distortion because this is the result of reducing the quality of the image so that it is a smaller file size so that people with slow internet dont wait 10 minutes for a hi-res picture to load...

This is fake because it's a low quality JPEG? Please....

When it comes to capturing the paranormal etc. on camera, digital might be handy, but it proves nothing. I'd need to see the negative of this shot and the developed photo before making a judgement. (if a traditional camera was used)

I don't tend to dismiss or praise any image I see on the net, just take it for what it is. There are some fantastic fakes around and it's getting easier and easier to achieve. Fakes and hoaxes do have their place in this world. Keeps people on their toes and establishes an effective system of working out what is real and what isnt.

Just thought I'd add that.

Whether its real or fake is irrelevant. A UFO remember, does not have to be alien. Its origins should be the question here
