The Washington Post has an interesting and thoughtful online article about the issue. Although they believe that Romney will still win, there's no doubt that his gaffes today are costing him future votes. And that, according to the article, brings up several interesting questions:

* How vulnerable is Romney? After Iowa, he was nearly 30 points ahead -- now the margin may be 15 points or less. If he wins with only a 9 percent (or less) margin, it means his base is eroding and it'll be a real dogfight over the next several elections. Are the

* Who's #2? Santorum appears to not have been able to sustain the impetus from the Iowa finish. The suggestion by the Washington Post was that if he had managed to come close to Ron Paul's numbers, that disgusted Romney voters might turn to Santorum as the conservatives' choice.

* How much money do they have left? In 11 days, South Carolina will hold its primary and ten days after that is the Florida primary. Florida is a "high risk" primary, because it's "winner take all." (don't expect much news from Ron Paul in Florida -- his campaign is limiting their spending there to focus on states where he might get some deligates. Gingrich, however, has a LOT of money in his war chest.

February is a short month's respite before March Super Tuesday.

And tomorrow we'll know if Mitt's support is beginning to fade.

Nope the black box voting is in full effect in NH - so even if he loses he wins - they will fix it. They can't have Ron Paul win!

Peace

No. He has a huge lead and outside of Paul no one else bothered to spend any money in the state.

For what it's worth Vegas odds are 1-to-25 Romney will win NH. So..... a $100 winning bet on Romney will get you a whole $4.00. No I don't think He can lose unfortunately.

Romney lose? Even when he's supposed to lose he wins. Romney can't lose. That's who they want to win. It will be fixed so that he wins even if he loses. What do you think you're in America or something? haha.

NH has 40% independent voters...if enough turn out, it could be an RP upset.

Will Romney lose? probably not but I sure hope so! Lots of attack ads hitting Romney...they brought him down a few notches in the polls as RP held steady. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

The MSM will most likely say Romney is winning and will win, but in reality I think RP and Huntsman have a chance here in NH like elPres said above they are 40% of Independent voters in NH. Depends on how the MSM wants to flip it.

Huntsman can pick up moderates not true indies like Ron. I believe Huntsman gets people flirting with the idea to vote for him but it doesn't seem like there was a media push on Huntsman like there was in Iowa.

Huntsman is definitely a protest vote though for those that are not fond of Romney I just don't know why they don't just choose Ron since he is the ultimate protest vote.

Huntsman spent millions in NH though he has some very powerful financial backing, that is no secret. These are definitely some traits of setting up for a 2016 run.

Do you think Huntsman is getting more clout from his daughters appearances on national television? Though 2 of the 3 are very good looking I am sure there are some people out there who are drooling over them, and not looking at it from a political stand point. Do you think that was another MSM tactic? Or possibly a Rick Santorum Iowa scheme where he came from the back of the pack?

Interesting. Do you have a picture uploaded on the net? I'd like to see the signs torn down.

Tooooo funny.

I went and voted for him yesterday. I started a thread but my system went off line so I could not updated it and correct it.

I went in the morning to vote for him and all the signs were throw on the ground that said Mitt R. All the signs that said Santorum were up.

I took some pictures and call head qrtrs.

I went to pick up my kids in the afternoon and there was like 100 signs and a couple of guys out there holding signs.

I was grinning from ear to ear.

Ha ha.

They thought they were being smart pulling down all his signs and throwing them on the ground. But little did they know I went there first thing after dropping my kids off in the morning. I went to vote and was like holy # they threw all the mitt Sings on the ground behind the fence . My wife was like no they didn't. I gi go look behind the fence.

Some one took like 20 signs down and threw them on the ground.

I was so pissed I called headquarters as there was a ton of Santorum signs every where.

It was great to see the bazillion Romney signs and a couple of guys well dresses and clean cut holding the signs.

It was awesome.

So sorry.

Winning

Sorry had to.

Can Mitt Romney Lose in New Hampshire

I wish. But considering how close Ron Paul came in second .. and the good solid showing Jon Huntman (YIPEE!) did ... I'd say Mitt Romney clearly didn't run away with it like he should have - being the gov. from next door and all. He did't lose .. but he didn't have a big victory either IMHO.
