I love great astronomy images.

This is NOT an image of a space probe orbiting the Moon. This is a photo taken from Earth (near Houston) of the International Space Station (ISS) in Earth's orbit, with the Moon 230,000+ miles in the background. It almost looks as if the ISS is orbiting the Moon!

It's a beautiful image.

Wow I love it,

I have always loved the moon, and I really love new optics technology, which can bring out the splendour for us miniature Earthling's.

I hope you don't mind me taking the liberty to upload this masterpiece, I originally saw it on ATS, and I think it relates to this thread.

This is some of the most stunning imaging I have ever seen

I have nothing to add, except that A) that's an amazing picture! and B) I have finally found an image worthy of being my new desktop background. Stunning.

Nice pic!

Very "star wars" if i may say so, think tie fighter and deathstar.

Im very much looking forward to the images the new moon satalites will beam us back, after all the NASA touch ups and photoshopping of course

We still are not ready to know about the clangers
