eyes wide closed

Riding the pony of cleverness,
troubles you shall encounter,
For your very own, deceitfulness.
Shrouds you from knowing
that truth is never growing.
Instead you are stuck to the saddle,
unable to dismount.
For to do so, would mean
you've been foolish
and the travelled path does not count.
Better it seems to charge forth,
cover your tracks and stay in the head.
From there your words enter
your sisters,brothers and innocent lovers.
How much better it is to pretend
your just clever like no other.
But your phantom partner
is closer than you care to think.
Whispering orders you call
your very own thoughts.
His mission is to keep you trotting
unaware your life is rotting.
Anything goes to keep your eyes closed.
Your worst enemy is hiding within.



As long as you don't stop.
He is destined to win.
Stealing your life,
until your final breath.
Then once again
we all must begin.

Sounds religious to me.

You might be in the wrong section. though I really dont see any conspircay at all

great words.

People are too busy fighting against doctrined tyranny, all the while wasting their lives away for fiction that is not them nor meant for them. Thats what I got out of it anyways.

Hi Sahabi, its a pleasure to share with you and it makes me happy to know that it hit that spot you needed. The phantom has always been around, but his hiding places are finally being pulled down. Sure there will be more built, but for now they are slimming down.
