Dear Readers,

Happy New 2012 terrestrial year, and also Happy new galactic year!

This 2012 will be the end of one cycle of about 25000 terrestrial years that our solar system takes to complete it orbit around the center of the Milky way, we are going to have in November and December the so rare aligment of our Sun with the Center of the Galaxy in the Sign of Ophiucus.

But what facts are waiting for us in this very extraordinary Year:

I see that economy will show again a very erratic performance along the months ahead, sometimes showing improving, sometimes not, but in general the trends will not motivate the investors, to the contrary will underline the impression of great risks.

We will see a great series of social turmoil occurring in England, Spain, Italy, France and England, showing that there is too much people feeling that there is no hope, no future for the youths on the present global economic model.

Russia will enter in a grave political crisis, a clear confrontation in between the opposition and the government, something that will carry violent acts in important cities and possibly a collapse of the institutions if Putin insist on his plans to remain in the power.

Im afraid that Mr Putin might be pushing with his personal ambitions of power the things to a point of no return, and even his personal security will be a so serious risk.

We could see another Socialist President arriving to the power in France, the first after Mitterand, that will propose new economical schemes for the European Union, that of course would do a turn of 180 degrees in many aspects, abandoning gradually the globalization model that we have until now.

The economic recession will arrive to China and other Fareast economies, and it will be with great momentum, a lot of important companies will be hit by the illiquidity, and the banks in that part of the world will also suffer a series of collapses, some of them impacting their partners in USA and in Europe.

The Campaign on USA will be interesting, the republicans will work a lot to prevent the reelection of Obama and certainly they will gain a lot of supporters, however, internal divisions could drive the electors to vote extremely divided for more than one strong opposition candidate and that will favor Obama intentions to remain in power. The most positive side of the incoming election is that it could be the end of the bipartite system and the beginning of a three-party one, a new political force in the center of the spectrum will appear and evolve very rapidly.

Mexico will have a really very tense and stressful political campaign, very moved in all aspects, also can experience acts of violence, and the final result could put in the power to whom now looks to be the least expected, I feel that the country is one of the most potentially instable, high volatility in all senses: Social, economic and political.

Venezuela will see for first time in almost 15 years the real possibility to overcome the Chavist regime, the opposition finally will find the way to motivate millions of undecided voters to make a political change that was unreachable in the last decade.

Greece will finally exploide in a series of uncontrolable riots, there is going to be what it was longly predicted: the first of a series of european social revolutions against the dictations of the global market economy, the common people will show to the world what the power of the masses can do when there is no more effective leadership inthe world.

2012 will be a year of big natural disasters, earthquakes occurring in dense populated areas of the world, also powerful storms, tornados and hurricanes. I can see at least one major natural event affecting the coasts of the United States in this year, I have the impression that will be in the second semester of the year and will be very destructive.

Many signals in the sky will be checked all around the world, there will be clear evidences of visitors of other dimensions, and the UFO phenomenon will have on 2012 one of the most active years ever recorded. We could experience one of the most close encounters with other kinds of life at the end of the Year, manifestations of great external power coming to our planet, many people will be talking of a second coming of Christ or the arrival of the Messiah, this carry up a great revival of religious spirit around the world.


One thing is sure, by 2013 we will have a so different international overview than the one we have had until present, with many leaders, that are still ruling, removed of the power either through means of revolution, defeated in elections , assasesinated or by illness.

This will be the end of the public life of relevant figures that we have been accostumed to see for long time: Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Mrs Krishner, Hosni Mubbarak, President Sarkozy and Phillipe , the Duke of Edimburg.

May I hold you too all this? So far, its just another normal year with some people feeling some very strange things.

i would certainly love to be half as optimistic but i fear as the year progresses the only prophecy i can make with any certainty is that i will seclude myself, stock up on supplies and ammunition in order to protect my family from the crazies who actually believe that this is the end, either way 2012 will most certainly be an interesting year. here's to those who make it through unscaved and unharmed. cheers.

Did you know there have been 200.000 of the 'galactic cycles' since the earth has been in existence (approximately 5 billion years). Has anything changed in these cycles?

Well there has been the emergence of life but the governing laws of the universe haven't changed.

I don't really know where I'm going with this post, just pondering I guess.

Footnote to Phage - I have just read your link - Very interesting though I am not totally convinced - It does not mean I do not believe such obvious evidence but still it throws up more questions in my mind such as the placement of all stars is never truly fixed - Is it not so when you look at the night sky and say for example look at Sirius - Sirius lays on the right hand side of the outer Milky Way yet roll back many years - a lot of years - It was laying on the left hand side from our view point. Though we call stars fixed they are not fixed in reality. So I guess instruments need adjusting after time - Nothing stays constant not even the Polaris eventually other stars like Vega or nr Vega would be the new North star - Hey I am getting way off topic here apologies - it is it all just fascinates me - I spent last night up on the moors star gazing
