An interesting book called "Hitlers Secret Backers"

The book originally was published in Holland in1933, shortly before Warburg's death, but disappeared during the war after its translator and publisher were murdered, the publisher's spokesman said.

He said it was thought the Nazis carried out the murders and destroyed copies of the book to avoid being discredited.

Thanks for posting links to your info, but what exactly are you alluding to? The Jews have purposefully hidden the number of Russians that died? The Jews get all the publicity and this causes the rest of the ones who died to be unfairly ignored?

In my opinion, this demonstrates further that wars are designed to depopulate. It doesn't matter what color, creed, or nationality you are, anyone can be marked for death.

I believe that the Jews who died get so much more attention because of the ways they died. Not only were they tortured into starvation, but they were poisoned, experimented on, etc., and then their bodies were lumped on top of each other in mass graves.

Yes. Lots of people died in WWII and it's horrible no matter how you view it, but I don't believe that the numbers have been purposefully buried to give the Jews more attention.

To the OP, the Nazi holocaust wasn't just a camp to exterminate Jews, let's think of the other people that died in the same way.

The huge difference was that Stalin made a pact with Hitler and his stupidity led to the slaughter of his own people. History also shows that Stalin killed many of his own people and this may be the result of so many Russian deaths.

Not that its not tragic but the Jews had no defense from Hitler or Russia till we got inside Germany.

The numbers of Soviets (not just Russians) who died in WWII is estimated to be 20-27 million. The range of numbers is accurate. The question is, who did all the killing? A million starved to death at Leningrad. Some numbers are well known.
I talked to a Russian immigrant (Jewish, he and his wife) whose father served in the Soviet Army in WWII. This Russian claims that around 6M Soviets died in combat, and maybe another 4M civilians, for a total of 10M. He says all the others were killed by Stalin. So maybe Hitler was responsible for 10M Soviet deaths, Stalin 10M-17M.
Remember Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was sent to the gulag for anti-Soviet activity. He was a captain in the Soviet Army, and he protested the raping of German women in letters he wrote.
Operation Keelhaul, after the war Eisenhower sent all the Soviet citizens who served in the American armed forces, and Soviet POWS, back to Stalin and certain death. Two million Soviet dead right there. Eisenhower also killed millions of Germans after the war.

just curious, do you have any pictures of that pre 1945?

all pictures i could find were dated 1945+ ...

you know at that time it looked like that all over germany...traderoutes were destroyed.....where there is no food there is corpses...

..if you objectevly regard most of these fotos...it is always the underline suggesting something....without the underline many of these fotos do not even work...

Russians have many memorials to their fallen in Russia. One of the most powerful and poignant one for me is the Mamayev Kurgan memorial complex in Volgograd which used to be called Stalingrad. This is where the turning point in the Russian/German war occurred from which the Nazis thankfully never recovered from.

I think the Jewish holocaust is remembered more because of the cold blooded, industrialized, mass murder of people in the Nazi death camps (not just Jews but also intellectuals, political opponents, gypsies, people with disabilities, homosexuals etc. etc. etc.). These deaths did not occur in battles or bombings but were death factories far from combat.

The cold war also may have something to do with the West's forgetfulness of what happened in Russia.

That statue in russia is amazing to look at,i'd love to walk up and see it face to face.I think its the largest free standing statue in the world,or was anyways,it makes the statue of liberty look puny...

Once again,the mainstream is led to believe that mostly jews wre killed in the death camps and thats just not true...

Russian civilians,around 18 million of them were hunted down and slaughtered just as horribly as the 6 million jews were,millions of them were sent to the camps as well and in some ways those russian civilians were treated even more brutally than the jews were...

I've seen photos of dozens of russian civilians at one time being rounded,strung up and hanged right in the middle of city streets in russia...

you say they were gassed to death? you got any evidence of that except dated history books written by american reeducationilsts?
in my research i could not find any real evidence..
even the gas-chambers in ausschwitz are replicas.....
