ask Lyndon LaRouche

I have been in touch with the Angela Vullo from the Lyndon LaRouche Presidential campaign, and had asked if Mr. LaRouche would be interested in answering some questions from members here at ATS.
So Im hopping to get intelligent questions from members here that I can send back to Mr. LaRouches campaign. And post the answers here in the 2004 Election forum,
I was thinking ten to 15 questions, so any ideas, if not I will go it alone and not being American I may not ask the right questions,

Here is a copy of the email from Mr. Vullo

Hi ########,

I don't know if anyone got back to you or not. What is the readership of your website?
Is it possible to e-mail some questions that can be answered by Mr. LaRouche, which
can then be posted? If you would like to call me, I can be reached at 800-278-3135.

I think this would be make for a rather interesting discussion. Personally I have always seen Lyndon Larouche as a total crackpot with severe paranoid delusions. I never could work out how he ever found himself a following of any sort, or funding for this organisation. I attended one of the rather impressive-sounding "Executive Intelligence Review" meetings and laughed so loudly when I was asked by my superior on the importance of this organisation. After giving him a brief on the forum he agreed there was no need to write any report. I think anybody that wants to send questions in this regard read some of the following articles.

"Until recently, LaRouche was virtually unknown in Britain, while in the United States he is dismissed as a crackpot, ignored by both the media and the political world. But since the death just over a year ago of the British student Jeremiah Duggan, a 22-year-old Jew found dead in mysterious circumstances in Germany after becoming involved with LaRouche supporters, his organisation has come under closer scrutiny than it has for decades.

Chip Berlet of Political Research Associates, a US think tank that monitors right-wing groups, said: "In America we have treated him as a fringe eccentric, which is wrong because the truth is he recruits a lot of talented young people, like Jeremiah Duggan, and attempts to turn them into followers who will mindlessly celebrate a cause that's going nowhere."

Duggan, who was studying in Paris, was killed by traffic when he stumbled on to a dual carriageway outside Wiesbaden, apparently fleeing from unknown dangers. Just minutes earlier he had made distressed telephone calls to his mother and girlfriend. The previous weekend he had attended what he had believed to be an anti-Iraq war meeting but which in reality was a conference organised by LaRouche largely to promote his views. His family are pressing the German authorities to reconsider their verdict of suicide."

"LaRouche, who is lauded in the council's New Citizen paper for being as omnipotent and wise as any tinpot Marxist Great Leader, was last heard of on parole after serving part of a 15-year sentence in the United States for mail fraud, tax evasion and a grab bag of related crimes. His specialty is spinning webs for the fearful with impressive but meaningless graphs and weaving spells of economic and social mumbo jumbo."

Testifying Sept. 2, 1994 before a Commission investigating the same case, former U.S. Attorney-General Ramsey Clark described the case as representing: "a broader range of deliberate cunning and systematic misconduct over a longer period of time utilizing the power of the Federal government than any other prosecution by the U.S. Government in my time or to my knowledge."more

I'm just resuscitating this very old thread in view of the recent developments over Jeremiah Duggan's death: evidence contained in a report from independent pathologists strongly supports his family's case for a new inquest. These findings blow the suicide theory, espoused by the German police and confirmed by the first English inquest in 2003 who reached a narrative verdict that Jeremiah "received fatal injuries when he ran into the road and was hit by two private cars. He had been in a state of terror".

The pathologists' findings are, among other things, that no traces of hair, skin, blood or clothing were found on either of the two vehicles claimed to have caused the fatal injuries during Jerry's 'suicide'. There were no tyre marks or other indications of how these two vehicles were meant to have come into contact with him. His head injuries were completely out of keeping with those that would have been received in a road accident and his arms showed injuries consistent with someone trying to protect themselves from blows. One of the experts who looked at the photographs provided by the German police said: "‘I do not believe that the images depict how Jerry came to meet his premature death. It is possible that Jerry lost his life elsewhere, prior to being placed at this scene."

The findings have now gone to the Attorney General and the outcome will hopefully be a fresh inquest, the verdict of which should cause the German police to re-open the investigation.

Hmm interesting that considering how many other crackpots americans will accept. I guess the only difference between an acceptable crackpot and non acceptable one, is that only right wing ones are acceptable.
