Obama closes Guantanamo Bay or at least says so..., page 1

With the passing of the NDAA and the indefinite detention bill, which now allows for the indefinite detention of military prisoners in the US, and codified into law. My prediction is before the elections take place, Obama will announce Guantanamo Bay to be closed or closing, as he promised in his 2008 campaign.

Since now the prisoners held in Cuba can be lawfully detained in the U.S.

your prediction is dead wrong. My husband retired this year from military housing re-furnishing or rebuilding new and existing living quarters, june2010 he was offered a project manager job at none other Guantanamo Bay 170 new barricks, a commissary, chow halls, and yes more cells for the terrorist, this job started in January 2011 and is 3-4 year job. He turned it down because they can't leave Guantanamo except to fly back to the states once every nine months and I could not go.

this was what 4 years ago and it is still open???, have you not seen the light that king Obama will not close this detention center, but paint it, in some wonderful colors we will be prod of. we will be so proud of it we will want to make a welcome mate for it. but this will be the proud task of Ca 4th graders.
