Kept thinking as I read your OP that you are simply in the right place at the right time. It will be fun to read your posts and after 20, you will be making threads that will probably raise millions of stars and flags. Good to have you here because yes even we get bored sometimes but at least we have each other and the most entertaining chat room on the net.

I once joined a forum that spoke entirely in leetspeak.

Interesting, the leetest of languages are constantly evolving HTML5, C++, Javascript, but so does ATS so I feel at home, perhaps you will too

Welcome to ATS iu! See you on the boards.

I know how you feel. I drove past a truck with a load of hay on it, I thought "should I?". I decide against it when I realised I need my legs for walking and well, just general legginess.

@antar: Ha! No pressure there at all!
I'll do my best which is sometimes not very good at all but I tend to self deprecate at the best of times when Im at my worst. I just broke my brain brb.

@LadySkadi Thanks! Is that Angelina Jolie in your av? Looks like her. I don't really like her after the bunny incident.

@Uberl33t: Nice username!

I hate Javascript it always makes me want coffee! I do some web design and I can code in HTML but I prefer to use the auto tools. I'm just seriously lazy and they are there. If I don't have to take the time to close tags well.... know what I mean?
Thanks for the welcome!

@leawyoming: Thank you! and omgoose please move!
Get as far away as you can!

@ALOSTSOUL: LOL its funny you should mention hay. 3 weeks ago I was out with my dad in law and we rounded a bend on the way home and there was hay all over the place. He suddenly shouts "HEY! GET OFF THE ROAD!" My cheeks still hurt from laughing...and yeah I don't live near any places there would be hay but I have eyeballed some flowerbeds which must look really funny to anyone watching me...

You are Nuckin Futs', I like you but I don't like zombies and they probably stink anyway

However, your Canadian bacon is delicious and I like it on my pizza with chicken and spinach (I also like Popeye the Sailor Man and Foghorn Leghorn)

Welcome to the Twilight Zone, Invalid

I'm still waiting for the first Canadian ATSer to make a tinfoil hat into the shape of a moose for the ATS Tinfoil Hat Competition.

I would do it myself but my hands are currently preoccupied with holding bacon in one and a donut in the other, while my nose types this out.

... I have a sneaky suspicion Invaliduser will grant my wish.

Oh, and welcome to the insane asylum.
Please ignore the dribbling fool over there in the corner... that's just the site administrator after spending yet another day trying to moderate the alien invasion, 911, and US political threads.

Enjoy !

Anyone who likes Walking Dead People movies (as I call them) is OK with me. Welcome to ATS.

Lots of CG people around here from professional to skilled amateurs. You should feel right at home.

I live in a nation that IS a string of volcanoes popping out of the ocean.

My house is surrounded by them and my workplace is overshadowed by a big one.

Some of them are still active and I can smell sulfur at various times, in various places.

For the most part, though, things are stable and safe. The volcanic hot points are two hours drive away.

Welcome to the madh...... oh wait, whats that rumbling soun

All I have to say is this:

1st: I gotta hand it to you Canadians for perfecting Canadian Bacon. That's why we call it that. Now hickory smoked bacon I will leave up for grabs, but I'm pretty sure Americans did that first.

2nd: We perfected Donuts here in North Carolina...we call it Krispy Kreme

3rd: This has been one of the best written introductions of the year....I know the year is only 6 days old, but I already like you and am looking forward to your posts.

Welcome to ATS!

@PublicEnemy: Ooohhhh I have a tshirt that confirms it. I got in trouble for wearing it to work one day so I secretly wear it around the house and theres nothing they can do about it!
I dont really like zombies either I mean, not in the sense that I would invite one to lunch. I like the concept of them and I dont know why. Maybe its because they are seriously scary to me and thats thrilling. I say..I mean I say I have never had Popeye or Foghorn Leghorn on my pizza before but I think that cartoon food would be a huge market here. O_o

But dont listen to me, I walked up to the thermostat and saw "70" and thought that I had lost 80lbs...I freaked out.

Btw I'm a huge Twilight Zone fan but I really miss Night Gallery. RIP Rod.

@LadySkadi: ok oops sorry! Looks like her though. Nice picture!

@Whateva:Haha normal! Thanks for the welcome!

@CranialSponge: Doooooood! Tank Girl rawks my sawkzorz! Lets be friends! Also you are by far the best nose typer I have ever seen. You should seriously put it on your resume. @_@
I would LOVE to make a tinfoil moose hat and as soon as you said it my mind gears started spinning! but I dunno if I could beat the current entries. Man those are some outstanding hats. I may put one on my son and enter it.

@Blaine: Thanks and also nice eagle!

@chr0naut: Holy cow its a miracle you're even alive man!
Whats 911 for NZ?! Wait! we'll need a boat!

Wait again! Is that Bill Murray in your av? I am seeing celebrities everywhere lately. chr0naut watch out for Candlejack! He's right behin

@ElOmen: Thanks! I'm a lil confused though. Is your wall glow in the dark or my intro? I ask because I actually did write my intro in glow in the dark text. Ive been waiting to see if anyone noticed.

A: I think it was some other Canadian that actually came up with the idea to fry peameal bacon but I will gladly accept the honour in their abscence!

2: I have eaten Krispy Kreme once. I couldnt eat for two days after. Im still processing the sugar.

Third: Thanks! I am looking forward to having my posts read and stuff...and thanks again because I just realized by your comment that it is in fact January.

Oh they are sugary!

sugary good!

If anyone has not had a Krispy Kreme donut, just imagine a donut dunked in sugary syrup. The Krispy Kreme stores here even have a lighted sign on top to let you know when a new batch has been completed and is still hot so you can stop by and get a nice warm syrupy donut just out of the fryer.

@Whateva: Oh nope. The only things I repel are excess money, good fortune, good looks and luck of any kind so no worries!

@baddmove: Thanks! Much appreciated.

@tsawyer: I dunno if just "sugary" describes it lol. Its like...a ring of sugar with a tiny bit of donut dough in the middle.
Can you say palpitations? Lol.
