So, if in your post you state (correctly) that Bush did the samre thing, then why does your headline read "Obama gives himself authority to supercede Congress"?
Clearly Obama didn't "give himself" anything, he just took advantage of an existing loophole, as many presidents have done before him.
I agree that it's not the right move on his part, but you distort it to make it sound like Obama created this policy out of thin air right after he wiped with the Constitution.
Just seems intellectually dishonest.
The hilarious part is, the GOP did the same under Bush pushing for this to be possible. There's even a court case serving as precedence commissioned by the GOP

Long story short, he cannot get the other 2 branches to do what he wants. This is a sidestep tactic to get what he wants. What irritates me most, Bush filled a few positions like this with the excuse noone was in DC. National security, other crap. Just a way to get people into places that helped them push their crap agendas. Just more 'look what I can do and you can't do nothing about it.' Maybe they'll finally impeach his sorry hide.

Because both parties ignoring the constitution is hilarious to you?
And since when someone doing something bad gives ground to someone else to do the same thing?
Everyone should cut the partisan crap and unite against abuse of executive power, otherwise it's already game over.
Nothing he did was against the constitution

I believe we call these people tyrants. Shouldn't he have been impeached long ago? What's wrong with this government? Oh yeah, they're corrupt...

If my memory serves me correctly, was it not during The last Bush term that they secretly (they meaning Reublicans) signed into law The President of the u.s.a. has supreme decision and can override any veto or veto any bill or law he exclusively makes. When this law or bill was placed I believe the republicans did nto look far into the future to see a democrat president in the seat using his or her right to do what the congress cant do, start passing bits and pieces of the budget and our future economy without the congress approval. I will sit on the fence with Obamas decision here and see what the outcome will be. We cannot judge this before it shows its effect. HE will be supercedeing congress for the next few weeks to get the economy continuing.
