YOUTUBE crashed. :? any info?

was adding videos to my cause, and got this message when trying to add a comment, after refreshing because of an error in commenting.

If you're seeing this type of error, it basically means YouTube's crashed. When something this major happens, you can be sure that some technician has been woken up by his pager and staggered into the server facility to get everything back up and running.

It may take some time. YouTube is a massive site: it's not like rebooting a PC.

kinda strange if you ask me. never seen it crash before.

Ive been on youtube most of the night....im on it now...was on it 10 mins ago....what was the message you recieved??

So they finally changed the message ? It used to say a highly trained team of monkeys has been dispatched to sort the problem !

So yeah it happens now and again !

Also updates to flash, mozilla have been released make sure your up to date ?

Youtube is working just fine for me, no error messages of any kind.

youtube just started working again for me about 1 minute ago. whats up with that?

Is there ever a month where it doesn't crash? they have serious bug issues which need to be fixed...but they do nothing to fix it

is this really important enough to even be posted?

god forbid you could have waited 10 minutes and tried again ?

it's a website. which is run on a server, which in turn, is a computer..

puters crash. we all know it.

i have not been here long please forgive my lack of news in this post. i shall punish myself thanks.

Sometimes websites have issues and go down for a while. I've seen it happen before and it will happen again.
