I know, i understand that aspect. I understand that they are using exit polls to estimate whos placing where... but how they are presenting it is whats pissing me off.

lol Rick Perry finally made it onto the bottom of the leaderboard. It took 15% of the state votes for him to pass "Others" into 6th place. Oh dear...

No-one said Paul would win, some hoped but pretty much everyone agreed that he would come in 2nd or 3rd. So he did win according to ATS. Stop trolling now.

It was based on exit polls plus precincts reporting, according to the NPR live update blog. (see link)

I think the final results will be

Romney 37%

Paul 21%

Huntsman 18%

And CNN isn't even whispering about it. I never post here, but I just have to say I am astonished!!! Such blatant bias. It's incredibly frustrating, infuriating, you name it.

Trying to pump up Huntsman as much as possible.

LOL they just projected Paul 2nd, spent about 3 seconds mentioning it. Moving on...

Paul is doing really well at the moment, at 25%, far more than projected. However, once we get to South Carolina and those other major southern states that are primarily social conservative, Paul will have a hard time keeping up. I predict Paul will struggle to compete in South Carolina, but Nevada, which is primarily a fiscal State, I think he'll make a strong showing there again, infact he may even win it. I don't think though that you can win the GOP primaries in just competing on moderate and fiscal conservative States, you need to demonstrate that you can make a showing in social conservative States as well. Even John McCain, the considered moderate in 2008, won fairly well in South Carolina..... so while Paul is showing himself as a strong alternative compared to the others thus far, he still has convinced the public that he has the ability and support to take on the nomination...

Who knows though..... he may surprise us in South Carolina and come atleast second there as well.

Yeah and on CNN someone was saying they are going to have to decide who is allowed in the debates or not otherwise the race will drag on and on. Can we take a guess at who they will prolly kick out of the debates?

Romney officially accepting win at this moment. Still looks as if Dr. Paul will be in second.

This is a very good question... more than anybody else, Bachmann was pimping the tea parties and she spent a considerable amount of time gaining the social conservative vote... yet she didn't even make a showing. I think it was silly for her however to leave after Iowa, considering that both Iowa and New Hampshire are more fiscal and moderate conservative States. She may have actually made a good showing in South Carolina.
