Well, it looks like it, based on watching hundreds of hours of Mission Control video streaming. What's so baffling about that? The ends of the payload bay have a semi-circular upper rim, where the two doors close and latch. This end looks like the forward end because you can see one window [of two] and the structure on the right that disappears after panning up, is the docking module for attaching to ISS.

So let me ask you THIS then.Hypothetically, if it's NOT an old footage of the now mothballed SS......(just humor me) what do you suppose it could be then?

You see, it seems we need your theory (that this is the Shuttle and not the ISS) to entertain your explanation.

Please know, I'm not saying you're making this up just to be quipped with an answer. I believe you believe what you are saying. I am just challenging you as to why I should believe you (devoid any proof other than your opinion).....which happens to changed the entire flavoring of this footage.

HA, the main point is that you have a video of UNKNOWN location, UNKNOWN date,
UNKNOWN witnesses, UNKNOWN context of illumination, activities, nearby
objects, deep sky background, etc. -- how the heck do you think speculating idly about
an explanation has any chance of being productive? It's abnout as big a waste of time
as any I've seen on these forums, and that's saying a lot.

I really don't care to teach you to recognize the space shuttle when you see
it in a video. You can learn, on your own, by watching a few dozen hours of
youtube videos and studying the vast array of still images at NASA's sites.

The idea that I'd have to PROVE to you which spacecraft it is, is
preposterous. You posted it -- with incorrect, possibly deliberately false descriptions.

Go look up 'onus probandi' while you're in self-education mode, and respond to it.

I have to say this is some pretty impressive footage which is very difficult to debunk straight away - only thing it could be is space junk but its unlikely unless its alien space junk and its being intelligently controlled and steered. It may be unlikely, again, but could it be another satellite? This is probably the best sort of footage to use in order to prove the existence of life outside this plant. Great thread and video.

I will attempt to look online---- for a photo of the SS bay area---- taken from space----- at the same vantage point that we're seeing, somehow, somewhere!

I'll do it (or try to) even though you're the one who comes on to my thread---(that I take for face value to be exactly what the YouTuber describes)----and tells me it's all wrong.

And if that's not challenging enough you tell ME that I carry the onus and have to fork over the burden of proof.

Wow.

No wonder I've never resonated with what you wrote in all the years I've known about you! Not only don't we see eye to eye, we go about things, completely different from one another.

But I'll try to find a photo even though, you probably have a treasure trove worth of photos right on your hard drive.

Hey Human_Alien you got a bad link with a wrong information, let me give you a hand here.
This footage is from the STS-118 Endeavour 2007 mission and the sequence is from August
19, 2007 after undocking from the ISS. Here is another segment of the long sequence and
Astronaut Mission Specialist Barbara R. Morgan reports to Houston: “How do you like the view” .

Debunk? It's self debunking.

We aren't allowed to talk to the witnesses.

We aren't allowed to check what else was going on around the spacecraft.

The location is FALSIFIED.

The date is FALSIFIED.

You're impressed with it? Ask yourself serious questions about your standards, please.

Wow.

That you're astonished I should dare tell you that,
DOUBLE WOW. Holy Moly [what's the emoticon for FACE
ALM?]!

Seriously, do you know anything about proper scientific debate?

Of course my approach doesn't 'resonate' with you. You seem to prefer to associate only with people who will believe anything at the drop of a video.

How well has that been working in advancing our understanding of the UFO phenomenon, the last few decades? Pleased with the progress?

That light looks just like what I saw though mine were orange/red.
Makes me really wonder since ive seen over 50 videos of the same looking lights!

Good find, free! But do the two sequences overlap, because I don't see the 'UFO' from the OP's first post, in this version. Does that suggest it was CGI added, or is it just in another time interval NEAR the video you posted.

Looks like the crew was doing belly inspection, the arm is carrying the OBSS boom, looks like.

So how come the UFO-version originally posted, has a moving dot that's NOT in the apparently original version?

This footage was a long sequence, I posted the segment when astronaut Barbara R. Morgan
reports to Houston to prove this is in fact the STS-118 Endeavour August 2007 mission and
not a 2012 ISS fotage. The segment with the UFO in question is real meaning it happened
during the transmission, is not CGI added. What we are seeing in the background is planet
Earth sometimes with thunderstorms and sometimes some city lights. There are other minor
points of light passing by in different directions but I don't know what they are.
