I am trying to access la times archives for the 02/26/1942 Battle of Los Angeles article. I want to blow it up and frame the 2 pages. However I've been trying to search for it on the site and can't find it. Wikipedia images says that they retrieved it from ProQuest, but I can't find it anywhere on the latimes site.

Has anyone ever pulled it up. I'm not yelling conspiracy but just would like a copy.

That would be something fantastic to get hold of, I'm afraid I will be of little help, there are some results on google images but none of high enough quality to blow up for framing. I look forward to seeing how this goes.

I got this from Google:

Los Angeles Times, February 26th 1942 - Battle of Los Angeles

Hope this helps - this case has had me fascinated for a long time!

Thanks for the link, but I'm looking for the one that ProQuest provides.

Interesting thing is that the la times archives "blocks out" almost all articles from 1942 and surrounding year. Either very strange or I'm using the search function wrong.
