Oh yes, Gerorge Soros and the Right Honorable Dr. Ron Paul have Alot in Common...........NOT ! ...........This Thread just HAS to be a Joke !........

Ya, don't even bother to read the story or the links to their sources, ignorance is bliss. The whole country will be learning about this and other sordid Ron Paul factoids in intimate detail as the campaign season continues.

The really scary part of this story is that our enemies were allowed to look under the hood at all of our financial obligations involving millitary expenditures projected for the future in the guise of proposing spending cuts. Barney Frank, Ron Paul, and all of those Soros operatives really did a number on this country as the Dems were getting tossed out of House power, that Ron Paul would be part of this or go anywhere near it should raise a lot of eyebrows. His name is permanantly affixed to it though and he will have to answer for it.

Wow... you figured all that out from only a few sentences? I guess the context of those few sentences is irrelevant, but only because it helps your uninformed narrative.

Since all of the non-critical thinking Paul supporters fail to admit reading the article therefore thinking nobody else will, I will in fairness provide another quote from the source.

Source

The panel of experts who would decide how to best gut national defense featured such independent thinkers as William D. Hartung of the New America Foundation. Hartung’s main expertise was appearing in “Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear & the Selling of American Empire.”

Then there was Lawrence J. Kolb of the Center for American Progress and Miriam Pemberton of the Institute for Policy Studies. If you want to know what the Center, the Foundation and the Institute all have in common, it’s Hungarian and smells like stale cabbage and the death of nations.

The rather creepy Institute for Policy Studies issued a paper proposing that Obama act as king and rule through executive orders. The New American Foundation is not only backed by Soros but has his son on its leadership council. The Center for American Progress is run by the co-chair of Obama’s transition team and is, for all intents and purposes, the think tank of the White House. All three are Soros funded.

It goes on.....

But it doesn’t end there. Also on the panel was Christopher Hellman of the National Priorities Project (NPP). If you are wondering what the NPP is, it’s a think tank whose objective is to “influence national spending priorities.” And if you’re in the mood for a double, Miriam Pemberton is also on the board of the NPP. The man behind the curtain at NPP? None other than our favorite Hungarian James Bond villain.

Going further down the list there’s Winslow Wheeler of the Center for Defense Information (CDI). The CDI’s goal is to strengthen “national and international security through international cooperation [and] reduced reliance on unilateral military power to resolve conflict.” CDI operates under the aegis of the World Security Institute, which is apparently the least creepy name they could think of. Wheeler is a Counterpunch contributor, a site which even Stalinists think goes a bit too far. CDI gets money from the Open Society Institute (OSI) where the stench of death and stale cabbage never goes away.

Then there’s Charles Knight and Carl Conetta of the Project for Defense Alternatives, which appears to be a subset of the Commonwealth Institute. Of its board of directors, S.M. Miller is also the founder of United for a Fair Economy which enjoys generous support from a certain philanthropic chap who occasionally destroys economies for sport. Another member, Guy Molyneux, has also worked with OSI. A third board member, Richard Healey, was formerly director of the Institute for Policy Studies and is on the advisory board of the Center for Social Inclusion, founded by two OSI veterans.

And the topper, which calls into question Ron Pauls foreign policy towards Iran,

If you think this can’t get any worse, meet Paul Kawika Martin of Peace Action (PA). You might know PA better by its old name, the “Committee for a SANE Nuclear Policy” or just “SANE,” a Communist front group investigated by none other than Senator Thomas Dodd. PA has the same attitude toward American defense that burglars have toward alarm systems in other people’s homes. They don’t like them very much. And they have a “five year strategic plan” for the job.

Paul Kawika Martin travels around fighting progress on board The Rainbow Warrior and is also involved with Physicians for Social Responsibility. Martin has also collaborated with the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), a front for the Iranian regime. I think you can guess by now who funds Physicians for Social Responsibility.

That's a lot of Soros backed opinions for one council, Soros spent heavily on this one.
And as a side note, Barney Frank retired, he won't have to answer politically for any of this but Paul will.

George Soros is linked to everyone on the left and anything Obama does all over ATS and there is never any backup or sources. At least this from the article and not just randomly posted on every page. Why is it so easy to believe anything negative about Soros but this here is impossible.

No, all you proved is that Beck failed.
The facts are undeniable, Ron Paul's name is affixed to this for posterity.

Beck failed? Have you seen his blackboard? Is there anyone else you know that makes Soros look like he is connected to every nafarious person alive or dead in history?
If there was anyyyyyyyyy connection between Soros and Paul.....Beck would have drawn the chalk line to him.

But you did force me to write 3 lines this time. Why not explain to us how Beck failed?

He made a living shouting about Soros in the media, then joined up with Ron Paul and woops, there's a Soros connection to Ron Paul.
A proven connection that is impossible to deny.

Why would anyone brag about Beck support? Wasn't he a FoxNews mediawhore extraordinaire, hated and villified by Ron Paul supporters?

If Ron Paul's only defense is "We got Glenn Beck on board", you guys are in real trouble.

I interpret your connecting Paul to Soros using Beck as a humourous means of knocking your king over.
I accept the victory and appreciate you not dragging it out longer.

I think Beck is bat *#&@ crazy. How does supporting Ron Paul translate into supporting Beck? But if Beck's supplicants vote for Paul because Beck tells them to...then two thumbs up from me.

( Ron Paul's only defense????? ahhhhhh..... I get it....it is the old, "hey, look over there." trick.....sorry debate
over, better luck next time.)

If you must walk away from the thread thinking you won something go right ahead, it melds nicely with your I don't care attitude about Beck as long as it gets you a few votes.

The facts are still there, Ron Paul's name is still attached to The Sustainable Defense Task Force, and will be forever along with it's multiple connections to Soros, Obama, an Iranian agent and all the Socialist baggage anyone would come to expect from the alphabet soup thinktanks Soros is involved with.

In 2007, FrontPage Magazine was criticized for publishing an article claiming that white women in the United States are being targeted by black rapists. The author of the article was subsequently banned from writing for the magazine

Guess OP has no problem using this site, and defending it,but has a problem with RP and his ghost writers.

Thanks for pointing that out. Noticed they fired the guy and took responsibillity.
That is 200% more moral standards than Ron Paul displayed.

The story is based on this The Sustainable Defense Task Force. Go try to attack that one.

200% more moral standards?
Moral Police now,hey? Laughable.

The Sustainable Defense Task Force was formed in response to a request from Representative Barney Frank (D-MA), working in cooperation with Representative Walter B. Jones (R-NC), Representative Ron Paul (R-TX), and Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), to explore possible defense budget contributions to deficit reduction efforts that would not compromise the essential security of the United States. The Project on Defense Alternatives coordinated the work of the Task Force. Carl Conetta drafted the main body of the Task Force report in ongoing consultation with Task Force members who developed or digested proposals from the diverse sources cited in the report. A sub-committee of the Task Force reviewed the final draft before publication. It should not be assumed that all Task Force members endorse all items and sections of the report.

I see nothing wrong with deficit reduction efforts that would not compromise the essential security of the United States.

You like WASTING taxpayer money?

Figures.

Wouldnt that mean that Beck fails?
Consequently, does that not mean you failed?

How do you win an argument about facts and reality with Glen Beck's opinion?

That's it? Just scratch the surface and hope and pray nobody digs?
The article pointed where the dirt is, if you think anybody is going to play nice and not follow the names in there, all you Ron Paul supporters are in for a rude shock down the road.

Can you say complete ignorance. The person was fired and corrective action was taken.
Who did Ron Paul fire for writing racist stuff under Paul's name again?

You are trying to draw a connection here, right?

Nope, this is actually brand new. Can you show me one other thread trying to go after Ron Paul for guilt by association? I cannot. My problems with Ron Paul come from the things Ron Paul says and the things Ron Paul supporters say. Most of it is crazy or lies. Kind of like this post I am replying to right now that is not going to be backed up because it is just kind of made up.

Get real people. Not one candidate is perfect or a god and the more you all act like Ron Paul is, the more you turn your head to the problems.
