Our Fascist Goverment

I know this came from Rense but rense took it from a local news in Hawaii. This article is appaling. This is the first I heard about the actual conditions at peir 57. I really do not like to generalize and blame things on one party or another, but all republicans should be ashamed at what thier party did at the RNC. I might be jumping to conclusions on believing this story but it really does not suprise me.

If you are not ashamed and or pissed at this blatent disrespect for life & liberty you should leave this country. I do not give three sh%its who you are, nobody deserves to be treated like this. This is America, not Hitlers germany.

Yeah. It's pretty twisted. They arrested more protesters than any ever has and took 'em down to a hot, dangerous, filthy warehouse and left them there for many, many hours with no legal recourse or representation. There is no defending what took place there. It's outrageous. A judge actually levied HUGE fines on New York's finest for their illegal and assenine behavior.

The Republicans are terrified of ANY dissent. It's disturbing, not to mention maddening. I was a proud Republican all my voting life (until the run-up to the Iraq war); but now, I am appalled and disgusted by what it the GOP has become. THE PARTY OF HITLER. From now on I am an Independent, recovering Republican. I want nothing to do with FASCISTS.

and people think that the u.s. still has freedom of speech and that the u.s. is not moving closer to a totalitarian or fascist control ..........just have to look at all the arrest at the rnc. it seems that most of the arrest were made because, well..the demenstrators were just present. it is also a good example of how people will get caught in a police sweep. there may be a few people disrupting something, so the pole-leaz sweep up everybody in the area, regards less if the were doing anything or not. funny that this doesn't bother more people....but it fits into the govt plan....take baby steps, so nobody will notice or care about whats happening..untill it's too late and it's all over 'cept for the crying............

If you listen to network news and swallow their BU# poll data, at least HALF of America loves Bush. HALF! I'm sorry, but that cannot be true. Not based on what I hear everyday. I don't know ANYONE who likes Bush. That's not to say they aren't out there. I know they are. They bother me at work! Damn phones. By and large, though, they are either rednecks or religious zealots who would lick satan's a$$ if he pledged to vote Republican. They're sheep who will be led to the slaughter.

Yeah exactly, I was talking with my wife about a week or two ago how I am loosing faith in people. I am starting to see that the majority like 80% of the people in this country are sheep. Nobody has any sence of honor any more. People see what the goverment is doing and just repeat what they say and do. These sheaple will stab you in the back with out any hesitation.

I am still having a hard time comprehending what happened at the RNC though. I just thought all this talk about a police state was just talk. I have believed for a while just couldn't accept it. But now I do know that we are living in a police state hidden by color coded terror alerts and people saying how they are willing to give up liberties & freedoms jusst to have a little security. Americans have lived the sheltered life way too long and know we rely on our goverment to shelter us. How do we expect to grow if we do not experience pain. I am sorry I do not want to be a sheltered little spoiled cry baby like alot of people in america.

I agree with you 100% Our excess has led us astray as a nation. The most comical aspect is those folks who support Heir Bush & Co., who actually believe their lies and fear-mongering, are gonna be thrown away just like the rest of us one of these days.

I had to post this.

My husband called the NYPD to ask who had issued a Certificate of Occupancy or Fire Safety Inspection Certificate and who wasmanaging Pier 57. He was given the number for the Republican National Committee. Yes. My husband and I looked at each other in silent, cold horror. In America? The Republicans have set up a private detention camp for their political prisoners that can hold 1000 under inhumane and unsafe conditions!? My husband slowly dialed that number, got the RNC, and the Republican rep who answered the phone said, in answer to my husbands' inquiries about safety: "those protesters don't deserve a Holiday Inn, and they're all criminals anyway!"

....Say what?! My daughter, who doesn't smoke or drink or do drugs and is a practicing Buddhist Vegan? A criminal? Warning signs that reporters saw posted around Pier 57 said not to enterwithout protective clothing and mask. My exhausted daughter, with hundreds of others, tried to sleep that first night ...on the chemical-covered oily, cold cement floor of these pens, without food or water, without being read her rights, without being offered a chance to post bail, without seeing a judge although the National Lawyers Guild offered to represent them pro bono, without being charged or told why she was arrested and handcuffed and taken there, without being allowed to make a call to a lawyer or friend or parent or anyone -- all cell phones were confiscated as "terrorist weapons." Her purse was taken. She had nothing but the clothes on her back. Meanwhile...ordinary criminals arrested that same day in NYC for burglary, rape and heinous crimes were processed by the courts in less than 10 hours. My daughter, who had committed no crime, was incarcerated for three days incommunicado. People suffered chemical burns, bug bites, overcrowding and medical problems because their medicine was confiscated. A pregnant woman sat crying on the floor in the oil.

EVERYBODY should be f***ing appalled by this! Absolutely disgraceful and indefensible!

One of the individuals being held was a girl dressed up in a black dress. Starr said the girl had been stepping out of her apartment to go out when she was swept up with a group and arrested.

this is the moment of reconing. if kerry is elected and little changes, the truth of our govt will be exposed. we have got to give it a little more time, so we can really see what they are up to. there are those of us who know the truth! and those who are still safely contained inside their boxes, that would be... roughly everyone i know. its gonna be an uphill battle deflecting the police state, is there anything we can possibly do?! thing are looking grim...

Republicans are supposedly afraid of dissent ? Republicans didn't require peacful demonstrators to demonstrate in cages. Those that were unlawful were incarcerated, and rightfully so, just deserts. Demonstrators are all to often fronted by Communist organizations anyway, seems to blind them to traitorous activity being patriotic. Or manybe its the corrupted kool-aid they force themselves to drink. Ann Coulter RULES!

Ahhh, Ann Coulter. Skeletor herself, who seems to decompose a little more every time I see her. A cold hearted she beast without remorse, conscious or common sense who spouts demagoguery and bile in the name of patriotism. If there is such a thing as evil in this world, it comes in the form of Ann Coulter. I swear the room drops several degrees when she enters it.
She makes McCarthy look positively liberal in retrospect.

I shudder at the thought of any cuckolded man that sleeps in a bed with that beast, but I admire his tenacity and will to to live, for clawing his way back out every morning.

As for the RNC, they don't require peaceful demonstrators.They require loyalty oaths. Fascists typically do.

Based on everything and everyone I know, on all the crimes committed I need some REAL proof. No way is Bush ahead in the polls.
This is more propaganda taken to the airwaves to mind control us into thinking that Bush is ahead so more people will vote for him.
Its an old trick. Everything with this people is deception and lies.
If he is ahead I'm going to learn a foreign language and pass myself off as a foreigner in another land. I dont want to be among the enablers here.

What changed between Clinton and Bush? About 1 iota. Kerry and Bush are even more similiar than Clinton and Bush.

Is there any follow up to this yet? I'm waiting to see what kind of legal action can be taken.
