I'm located up in Yokosuka, Japan at the moment. After a long period of quietness, an earthquake that deserves to actually be posted since it's big enough just happened. It was big! Not sure how it has affected Japan yet but there's sirens outside.

Northwest Pacific Tsunami Advisory 2012-01-01T05:40:00Z

THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF A TSUNAMI THIS WILL BE THE FINAL BULLETIN UNLESS THERE ARE CHANGES ABOUT THE POTENTIAL OF TSUNAMI GENERATION BY RE-EVALUATION OF THE EARTHQUAKE OR THERE ARE REPORTS ON TSUNAMI OBSERVATIONS.

Thankfully. *phew*

Hi,

I hope with all my heart that Japan NEVER goes through what it when through and that this one does not cause any fatilities and damage.Though you say this was a big one. Please keep us posted, although I am sure many of us will search for news on this.

I have a lump in my throat, because I have always felt (unexplainably) that the Japanese are actaully a very gentle and kind people, with a quiet still spriritual nature. I am talking here of the Japanese as a collective energy.

Please God, keep them safe.

Good luck in Japan. But I'll say this much. You'll be A-Ok and Japan will be as well.

I'm sure you'll be alright. Just keep an eye out, but don't freak out.

I'm pretty sure nothing's going to happen, but you never know. My family sort of panicked, this caught us off guard. This one was big so it just got me worried a bit, as with everyone else on my FB, that's the first place people go to to post haha.

As if Japan didn't have enough problems. My heart goes out to the people. They have endured so much. We need to keep them in our prayers.
