When I was pregnant one of the sandwiches that I craved...and had to have...was a baloney sandwich on whole wheat bread with plenty of mustard! I have not had a baloney sandwich in years...I just may try one (again) today.

My favourite lunch is a couple of lettuce sandwiches - iceberg lettuce and wholemeal bread.

My housemate has completely grossed me out with his idea of a sandwich. Yesterday's leftover potatoes sliced, fried and put in a sandwich was bad enough.

But the day he put risotto between a couple of slices of bread even disgusted the dog

I am a big fan of chicken salad sandwiches. But has to be the gas station brands. MMMM. My absolute favorite. I have 4 in the fridge right now. I know its strange but I love em.
Otherwise though I am with you on the tuna salad sandwich.
But has to be subway, cut old style
white bread
tuna
mayo
lettuce
oil and vinegar
salt and pepper
I will always eat the sandwich. That was my first subway sandwich many years ago, and to me it still is awesome!

I like the chicken salad sandwich too...only with a twist...for me it has to be on whole wheat bread....with some slivered almonds mixed in.

Yum, I'm getting hungry.

Take some canned artichoke hearts and blend in a food processor with mayo, balsamic vinegar, a little garlic and blue cheese crumbles, salt and pepper to taste.

Spead a thick coat onto any rustic bread and add rare roast beef, lettuce, tomato and red onion.

To die for!

I also love a good and gooey tuna sandwich, but I have to put a layer of potato chips inside or it isn't the same!
