first disaster of 2012

dont mean to sound morbid...but does anyone want to predict the first big disaster of 2012. only 2 hours here in australia till we see in the new year, and it got me thinking that always around this time of the new year there is a major disaster.

I predict another large 7.0+ EQK in the Pacific perhaps in or around the northern region of Japan

Biggest disaster: Wasting time on possible/potential disasters, whether they actually happen or not.
Will only cause negativity...and frankly, that's a DARN bad way to start a new year.

If disaster happens, it happens, regardless...but don't waste your life with the "IFs..." because you WILL NOT gain anything good from it.

That looks like a witch performing some sort of ritual spell under the full moon to me.......the witches are planning to take over the world in 2012!!! OMG!!! I KNEW IT!!!!!

Im goin with the sae thing I predict each year for us Aussies,
Fires on the West Coast and Major Flooding on the East Coast.
Or on the off chance Extinction Level Event

Wow, sure does!!!!! I actually think its the ashes of all mankind after the initial let off of nuclear weapons,

i only started the thread because always at this time of the year within the first few days there seems to be something major happen. its our low ratings period for media and they always have to call people back. over the last few years we have seen tsunamis, bushfires, floods etc.....just thought i would seek opinions on what people think may happen.

Fall of the EU and the euro currency.

The Dollar faulter in response.

This triggers a double-dip world wide recession.

There's no money to bail out the banks this time.

Large world banks go bankrupt.

The Credit market freezes and solvent companies can no longer work on a normal level.

Do to the lack of goods and services (including oil), riots break out world wide as the people of the world move to take control of the situation away from the government.

Local Police, State Police and the Military take to the streets to enforce martial law but are quickly overrun by the mass of people.

The 2nd revolutionary war begins in America and is quickly over since 70% of the population own guns (about 210+ million people....best guess).

Local, State and Federal politicians are taken prisoner by the new Regime and put on trial.

The new people's army of America begins the long road to establishing law and order.

..........or 2012 could be pretty similar to 2011 and not much will happen.
