Ron Paul supporters fight back, defending Kelly Clarkson after she tweeted support for Ron Paul

Kelly Clarkson tweeted support of Ron Paul wednesday.

She was immediately slammed hard by all the media:

on and on... just do a search for Kelly Clarkson Ron Paul and you will see tons of articles from every news source slamming her.

Well Ron Paul supporters are fighting back buy buying her record in droves calling it a Kelly Clarkson Money Bomb. They have in 12 hours moved her from 41 to number 17 on the Amazon best selling records list and from 17 to 13 on the itunes best selling records list.

So Ron Paul supporters are sending a big message to the music establishment!

It is heartwarming to me to see what is happening!

Not sure my thoughts on the usual popularity fest, no matter which side is waging it anymore. But I will say to Kelly Clarkson as have always loved her music and some amazing voice. Good to see people stepping aside from the status quo though in the industry and making a voice for themselves.

I used to have the biggest crush on her.

This is amazing though, I love how the supporters do just that. Support!!!

I Love this story...just freekin' love it

The MSM hate machine did two things with slamming Kelly. They once again, put Paul in the spotlight so more people are hearing his name.

And two, let people know, that if you are slammed for showing support for Paul...you will be Thanked, in positive ways beyond your imagination.

Wonder how many artists sitting under Kelly's rising status on Amazon, are now having a second thought about Paul.

The more people in the music.movie industry that step forward to show their support for Paul, the better for everyone.

If you read the comments on the Washington post one, it is disheartening, You have the Paul supporters who are there desperately trying to convert the sheep, it is not working

Thanks for your post, but most of all thank you Kelly Clarkson. Finally someone that isn't part of the satanist music industry standing up and supporting what is right. I wish more celebs like her would show support for Ron Paul.

I believe that Ron Paul is going to get the republican nomination because when it comes time for the presidential debates the media is going to such a good job in bashing himl that votes aren't even going to matter. Sad but will be true unless people wake up and start showing public support for Ron Paul.

This is interesting, maybe more artists will follow suit if it going to help their pocket AND get them back in the MSM at the same time. Well done Kelly and shame on the media, again

This is such a typical victim mentality stance that I have seen a lot of from Ron Paul supporters. The media REPORTED on the issue with a totally neutral tone. Not ONE of those outlets "slammed" her. The last one even called her fan's comments "nasty"... And STILL, you whine...

Those sources reported on the story. And because they took a totally neutral stance and didn't shame her fans for expressing their opinions, Ron Paul supporters cry about some imagined "boo-boo" and say how unfair it is... "She was slammed"...

Read the articles. No one "slammed her". If you want to make Ron Paul appear strong, stop crying and whining. You guys just make him and his supporters look weak.

No matter how many albums you buy, it won't change the number of votes he gets.

The only people who care about her supporting

I think it might be more of an instance where she is in the position to speak louder so to say. Not that she is better than anyone else. Lets be honest people in public limelight positions do have a louder voice than the average person just because of their public exposure. And she chose to use her position to voice her opinion, some liked it and some didn't. I do agree with you though people need to make up their own minds from here on out and not just go along with the group mentality anymore. We all see where that got us.

The BBC are running an article now about the other Republican candidates attacking Mr Paul, generally over the Iran issue/ showing their pro Israel colors, I love this comment
