I agree, war times are very different, you can warn someone that they may be bombed, but it may be hard to believe.
Specially when we are talking about bombs that nobody truly comprehended yet (the power of their devastating quality)

I would hope that a major radiation leak in japan, and specially one that arrived in Tokyo, would be treated in a very different way, and that given the right info, the Japanese people would decide to save their bodies, in order to propagate their heritage and history in to the future.

The monster of radiation is the only one you cannot fight, no matter what you do,the only thing they can do is to run...fast.

I disagree, I read that LIQUID NITROGEN & DRY ICE CO2 could have been dropped on Fukushima ,from the start, making the whole thing benign.

The info about LN and Dry Ice co2

The fact that they didn't is what makes me believe this whole atrocity was a planned event, which is part of a larger series of events.

When a mass natural destruction event is so deadly he became a planned event, like 911,I don't think so,this is the meaning and dimension they give to their suffer .

This kind of Pictures are very common in Japan,
i lived already in many Countries in my Life
and never saw a Society so much in Love with the Morbid!

Maybe a Life with the permanent Danger of Earthquakes
related Suffering and Death create such People!

We can see this in all forms of Art in Japan,
Literature ala H.Murakami, Music ala Mono (one of my longlasting Favorites)
or Envy (Post-Rock with, hmmmmm, Hardcore) and Pictures like this one,
even the well known Japanese Porn Industry is in Love with Destruction and Decay!

Yes I think you're absolutely right.

In Japan People have a 'natural subconscious disposition' to be ready and prepared for whats coming.

An Island. On a major fault. That American artists (songwriters in this instance) have been giving us CLEAR clues about. Johny cash , ring of fire.

Then we have the Japanese government deciding its a good idea to have a NUCLEAR power station on its coast line. ???

**These people aren't stupid!!!!!! ** look at **EVERYTHING** that comes out of that country!!!!.... : ]: ] : ] : ] : ]

Yes the morbidity that you talked about in your post, actually points to a 'lucidity' in its people. that they KNOW something is going on, a morbid refection in the subconscious, even if the conscious doesn't know it,
that something morbid is indeed being engineered for them.

WHO do u think made these decisions???????????????

I have to be honest, your English slipped in to; incomprehensible, and i lost your drift.

Please clarify.

And just to Add.. I COMPLETELY agreed that they would have to run fast (the Japanese people) !!!!

I just disagree that nothing can be done about it (radiation.) There are ways!!!!! such as my post above.

Info about stopping Nuclear emissions.

It's so much to read there(thank you),I just started(to read),I was on another thread(not mine),anyway you may be right,depend on the future events,but that we will see(in the future),the spread(radiation)area it's the key,I think!

PAY ATTENTION to the fukushima bit
Very interesting solution, but no circumstances does not resemble other.

You're right, no circumstances involving radiation, do not resemble each other. haha

Double negative.

Do you have any source or logic trigger for your suggestion that the Tokyo residents will be moved to South America or Australia?

Plausible. I'm just curious about the origin of the idea and the justification, support for it.

Sure would be expensive.

However, given all the predictions about most of Japan going into the sea . . . might be someone needs to be working on the practical aspects of making what you suggest really happen.

Guys I live in Tokyo, have done since the Quake and Tsunami.
I'll be honest for months afterwards with the masses of quakes all day everyday it was like living on a knife edge.
Every time the building sways you wonder IS IT THE NEXT BIG ONE?!?!?!?
I work on the 26th floor which is where I was for the one last year and my apartment is on the 12th so I'm basically screwed on height all the time.
The plate that actually went was one they thought was dormant.
The plate they actually thought was going to be the big one STILL has not moved.
A week or so back we had this random 7 plus in Torishima which IS the plate that is due (the big one!)
I'm sure, as I am everyone here is still waiting but that's all you can do is wait.
Thankfully I am due to leave for good in March so hopefully I'll be gone with my family before anything major happens again and I have no doubt it will and maybe, just maybe, I won't have to look at my emergency grab bag by the door anymore.
With regards to the moving of Tokyo..... just won't happen until it has to full stop.
To do that will cost too much money and its in the culture that the truth is never given to the masses here and I KNOW that after 8 years of working for them.
There will be troubled times ahead no doubt but hey that applies to all of us no?
We can only ever be as prepared as our lives, finances, families, jobs and maybe common sense lets us be and fate decides the rest no?
Have a great day ATSers.

I got in the habit of carrying my backpack everywhere in China.

Even to church.

25 years later, I still do so, now in the USA.

It's convenient to have things I use a lot . . . and that others often need--I love serving others.

However, it's increasingly sensible, it seems to me.

The powers that be and the END TIMES

conspire to set off traumas and disasters of every type

virtually everyWHERE.

Reported to the way Japanese are building their cities an earthquake in land will be less devastating then one in the ocean.

Real devastation happened only when a few Factors come at the same Time,
like we saw 3/11 or "the big Hanshin" (happened yesterday a few years ago)
Kobe was so deadly because the Rescue/ Fire Fighter couln`t reach the area
where the old Houses collapsed!

Planning and Preparation is everything,
you can survive a Mag.8- or 9 without big damage
but can die by a Mag. 6,5 through Fire for example!

PS; i really hope when "the big one" happened my Wife and i are in the same Place
but there is only a 40% Chance that this will happen in this way!

Maybe it's just coincidence,or not, anyway I hope that nothing wrong will happen and there will be no need to evacuate entire cities.....if there will be time for that.

The buildings in Japan ARE well constructed and after the big earthquake very few showed any real signs of damage.
All the damage and death was from the Tsunami and no doubt another big one would be the same.
However even the building I am in is only rated to 7 so a 9 underground near Tokyo would probably destroy the entire city but that's NOT likely to be the case as it's more than likely to be offshore again.
