I think I speak for the majority of England when I say "WE WANT YOU OUT!"
You forget that Great Britain has had 2000 years of invasion, immigration and the infusion of foreign ideas have created the Britain we know today. We are a Mongrel nation and thats what makes us so great.
I work with Polish people and they are great people. I think you do not speak for the majority just yourself and others like the BNP.
Stop reading the Daily Fail....

As far as I know, the UK doesn't have as any land borders with any other country. So am not sure what this "sealing the borders" means? Are they going to make visa a requirement for entry to europeans of specific memebr states of the EU who today don't need a visa? Are they going refuse entry to all kinds of foreigners, except say diplomats etc?

We do the same in Spain etc, but I do agree with you but like my Polish pal says as soon as people hear an accent they turn all Daily Fail like....
Its human nature to live in communities where the people are like you, but I do agree they should all learn english.

Although there is a border on the map, it is not a physical one as such.. Actually there has never really has been a border between the UK and Ireland (in the sense people think of a border, it is more to divide land).. We have never needed passports or visa's to travel between the two countries and the people have been allowed to move freely between the two..
even during the troubles.. although at times things were tightened at the border of nothern ireland (with more military and checks) people were still allowed to move freely..
They will never seal of that border..

UK making preparations to stem a load of economic migrants from failied EU states is understandable. But why the preparations for evacuating British citizens? Are they expecting comple societal collapse in these states that their citizens there cannot leave in an orderly manner? Wonder if other countries planning the same.
That still leaves me puzzled about what this "sealing of the borders" means. The only way I can interpret it is to mean end of visa-free travel to citizens of EU member states, at least to those of some of the EU member states.
