The repeater at Groom Lake has long been encrypted. This video has a bit of actual security scanner audio in it.

I just watched several arrest videos ... I'm sure the local sheriff is so annoyed with all this because he has to come out there and retrieve these people when they cross =) Here's what happens:

1. You walk up near the line, the camo dudes come out and watch you
2. You cross the line, they come after you and detain you at gun-point
3. The local Sheriff and a deputy comes along ( at least in one video, a plain clothes guy ) ..
4. They fill out some papers, then they take you to jail

I found at least 2-3 videos like that on youtube .. one didn't show the arrest, a car of old people sped right past the line and were pursued way past the border..

Point is .. they take it very seriously, and you do apparently get jail time... even if it's only a few hours most likely
