I find this concerning. USGS hasn't reported anything in days. The last month has been active all around the world. Now everything drops off according to USGS. I am by no means knowledgeable in vulcanology. Would appreciate some input from someone who is.

It would be horrible if the Yellowstone Caldera blew up unexpectedly, more than half of Western America will be gone.

NASA has a satellite measuring the thermal temperature of earths crust.

You can see all their data for everywhere's on earth.....except Yellowstone.

Surely there is a reason NASA and our capital are all the way over here on the east =)

Oh, sorry about that. But yeah, that would be terrible for everyone if this happens. The dust-initiated global winter would kill so many, especially with the current low food supply. Yellowstone would be a more immediate concern form me because I live in Kansas

The talk over at that other site (GLP) is that "the harmonics are showing very strong". I don't know what that means but they seem to be getting worried over there.

Yeah I know, the last map isn't up to date but it's good for trends.. the first image is up to the month, the December map should be showing up in January when it has a complete dataset .. ultimately nothing looks out of the ordinary at least to my eyes ( temperature wise )

Maybe something just needs replacing somewhere. It's Xmas Day, do you think you can find a willing repairman anywhere?
