I need help? You dropped bombs on people and I need help...

Yeah that is totally sound logic.

Let me guess, you were on meds/drugs for a long time...and you are telling me I need help...

Byebye.

You must not know the USAF do you think they would let a guy even sit in an aircraft that costs millions of dollars and not do drug tests?
Oh, and I didn't drop bombs, the bombardier did that, but I served so people like you could write silly messages on ATS!

Yeh yeh, what a bunch of nonsense. You didn't do # for me to be able to write these messages. You're just looking for old glory, well, to the informed people you are nothing but a pawn that doesn't even realize it. And you're still warmongering...after nam...so forgive me for not believing you for even a second.

A great American once made a statement that sums up all your posts:

In my view the best course of action for Iran is to maximise trade and humanitarian relations with the international community

Begin a program of public works and engage international partners, in particular the european union, for the procurement and application of aggregate technologies

Ratify treaties related to human rights and contribute to international aid programs

It is better to make friends than confront enemies

How would you know what "the people" think. Do we have an omniscient being in our midst? Very much doubt it. Iran has never attacked you (quite the opposite), therefore, your opinions are baseless. You guys have no right to invade, whatsoever. I don't care how you rationalize it, you can try to polish a cow patty but then you just end up with shiny bullsh t.

EDIT: P.S. The fact that you, along with many others, would consent with what happened in Libya makes me quite angry. I'm glad I don't know you.

See, I wish it were that easy. Ghaddafi tried doing exactly that, and look what they did to him. And all because he wanted to nationalize his nation's wealth. It's bloody sad, really. The enemy is quite a bit worse than anyone realizes. If I were them I wouldn't give in either. I know they will be defeated, but at the same time, what is the point in living if you cannot live free of financial tyranny. I say all the power to the people of Iran. They are in my prayers.

I absolutely take your point regarding the misanthropy of the military-industrial complex

You guys in the states really have to tame this 'government within a government' referenced by Eisenhower so many years ago

Perhaps lobby for a constitutional change whereby the President has the highest level of clearance and executive power in all branches of the military

Ghaddafi was about to commit a massacre using weapons that my country britain had sold to him weeks earlier

I remember a big televised debate at the time featuring the politicians who had signed off on these weapons deals

When criticised they said piously "Well we wouldn't do it again"

And just what have you done for your country lately?

Shhhh. You do not know where I live. Besides, if your view of doing something for your country is turning into cannon fodder and get praised by some sheltered guy who pins a medal on you for committing the worst kinds of crimes on humanity...you are too far gone. I've informed the next generation of leaders in my country. What have you done for yours?

Poor ol' JFK is rolling over in his grave right now with all the toolbags in the US whining and crying and asking for handouts. Lemme guess, JFK said, "It's not what you can do for your country, it's what your country can give you for free."

You are correct. Trillions are going to the wealthy because they gambled it away. But it's okay, your focus is on the single mom who needs support to feed her children or the student who can't manage study costs and needs to enter the military as a pawn to keep his or her head above water.

You consider yourself "informed people"? Yet, you spout off the same drivel I read on ATS on a daily basis.

drivel? At least I'm willing to take the villain role in order to snap some people out of the trance they are in. I don't care that a couple of people will attack me because they do not understand what I'm saying, whether what I say is said by one or millions of people.

Put down the cheetos and xbox and move out of mom's basement. And make your bed before you leave, too; your bedroom looks like a meth-head is living there.

Yeh, where have I heard that snappy comeback before...

Then he should have said "American helicopters", and not used the name of my people.

It is bad enough our name has been usurped by the military/industrial complex and attached to such a device.

I've had to face the prejudices and lies spread about my people wherever in the world I've wandered. I've actually have foreigners jump back from me when I told them I was Apache, based upon the image they've gotten from Hollywood westerns.

It is far too easy for people to make the link to the people, not the machine.

You're being a moron. No one is honestly thinking there are Apache people running around blowing people up man.

Now - if he'd said "American Apaches shooting people from horseback"... I'd understand, but you're just being ridiculous.

Having studied US history in some detail I have formed the view that America prospers when practising moderate isolationism

A military confrontation with Iran, drawing in allies on both sides, may turn out to be the most disastrous foreign policy decision in American history

I read your thread a coup[le days ago and I've been letting it knock around for awhile. In me head. Can't get around the fact that you're telling these other human beings. That they are doomed for what amounts to a guiltless error in birthright geography. Because your country is ruled by terrorists. What makes them so special ?
Have you apologised to the people of Iraq ? Afghanistan ? How about Germany and Japan, theres a good one ?

At least you offered an apology instead of the eternal impersonal excuse of " I'm sorry ". However I don't think it will matter much to them. I'm sure the hear the war drum booming over your apology.

But I feel ya !

Kind of makes you sick when you think about it huh ? Damn well does me.

No we've saved up all the karma. What's coming to us is retribution. A reckon'in as my pop use to say.

Just make it clear which you are referencing is all I ask.
Your post had no picture to make the point clear.
You could have just as easily used the AH designator instead, or said attack helicopters.
It would be easy for foreigners to assume the US was setting wild tribesmen loose as mercenaries, or that the name generally means one who indulges in such brutalities. I've had to deal with such outlandish ideas many times from foreigners who had very little knowledge of the US and Natives.

You really overreact, even I recognized that its about the AH-64 -as a foreigner- and I laughed at you naive comments. In fact, your reaction and behavior is more damaging to your tribe if you like to say so then to think what you did.

BTT: So now the USA blames iran? They must be really retarded if the think this sounds plausible.

If you are any indication of how the future of Americans are, we are in great shape, a nation of cowardly sheep... no, I agree you probably are a kid living in your mom's basement hiding behind your computer!
Tell us (like you were asked) what have you done for this country besides complain?
I think my family has a lot of stock in this country, my relative came over here from Germany as a Hessian solder, decided he wanted to be free so became a solder in Washington's Army. I had 2 relatives die at Gettysburg fighting for the Union and my dad died from complications to injuries in the Battle of the Bulge. I served in the USAF so many of my relatives has died for people like you, who if I'm not mistaken called me a "warmonger" because I served my country!
Now, what have you done?

I write this with passion and with a sad heart.

Dear people of Iran,

I am an American. I am a man with a family. I am not a Christian nor a Muslim nor a Jew.

Our news media has been making Iran out to be the enemy lately. I know we sold you weapons once upon a time, as well as sold weapons to Iraq. We use heinous means to be the world bully, the hegemonic leader and horder of money. We bomb countries and create media lies in those countries creating civil war and separation within the masses. We are the DESTROYERS of peace.

But when I say "We" I do not mean America.... I hope you continue reading to understand that the "we" I mention here is not Americans.... it is a War Machine. It is war for profit. "We" the people of America are NOT the ones who wish to attack you - to be honest I don't know ONE SINGLE PERSON who is for attacking Iran.

There is a rogue group of elite people (if you can call them that) who thrive on destroying other people; they are evil. They own the companies who make war equipment and they own the companies who rebuild and profit off war-torn countries - companies like Halliburton, Bechtel, Blackwater... If there is an enemy it is not the American people. Follow the money.

After reading this morning U.S. District Court Rules Iran Behind 9/11 Attacks (discussed in this ATS thread by WarJohn) I got sick to my stomach. I am very sorry, but the masses, the people of America are too spineless, weak, ignorant, and gullible followers of our corrupt mass media that "We" will not stop the attrocities committed in our country's name. For that I am deeply sorry. I urge you to take cover, move out, whatever it takes because you are about to meet the world's largest and most advanced military. I am so sorry.

I am sorry because I see you as people, as mothers and fathers and people working to pay for food, people with little babies, people who are straight or gay, competitive or kind, people with bills and maybe a car, struggling to wonder if you should stick with tradition or take off your hijab. I see you as PEOPLE just as I see my neighbors and friends as people. I wish you luck and warmth and Love from one person to another.

You are wasting your breath if you think they care. Go over there wearing a shirt with an american flag on it and see what happens to you. They aren't going to give a damn what you are, wether youre a christian or not (and thanks for blaming us for this mess btw).

Start learning to say Allahu'a'ahkbar. Having no religion to them is worse than being a jew or a christian because you don't believe in the one true God.

Oh and does that make it right what the US government do then? I think you will find it doesn't!

My heart goes out to any HUMAN BEINGS being used as porns in the evil game, I DON'T CARE what religion they are or where they live!

WE SHOULD ALL STAND UNITED AGAINST THESE TYRANTS!

I never said it makes the U.S. government right in what they do. I stopped voting years ago once i realised that it was pointless. Our government does what it wants, it is out of control and the best thing i can do is stay out of its way. Humanity is circling the drain and this is only going to get worse because of the times we live in. Morality has just about completely departed this world as has men's consciences, one good look around the entire world and at current world events proves it and it is one major reason i stopped watching the news. I became very depressed watching all the evil going on, so i stopped watching it.

"they are threatening to close off international waterway (to stop oil exports). "

..lol..oh please, stop with the silly talking point propaganda.

One of Irans numerous vice presidents, 16 of them as of 2009, belched some fiery rhetoric..thats it.

If that was an Iranian "official" state sponsored threat to block an " international waterway".. then that creepy old man, US politician from somewhere, singing "bomb bomb bomb Iran" was an official US threat to wipe Iran off the map..huh?

And.. didn't some wrinkled old political hag lady say the US would "obliterate Iran"?.. OMG!!, yet another "US threat" to wipe Iran off the map!!.. heh.. frikn hypocrite.

Pop quiz:
Who has needlessly slaughtered more innocent people in the last 40 years:
A) So called terrorists
B) Evil Iran
C) Muslims
D) GOP & DNC / American politicians

If you answered D, you're correct.. who again is the real danger to the world? those in DC who carry out threats to wipe nations off the map, or those who allegedly talk about it?

In a different perspective, some 11,000,000 Muslims have been violently killed since 1948, of which 35,000, or 0.3 percent, died during the sixty years of fighting Israel, or just 1 out of every 315 Muslim fatalities. In contrast, over 90 percent of the 11 million who perished were killed by fellow Muslims.
