I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet.

Fox news is sending out there Holiday card in which they zing CNN and MSNBC.

Fox News zings CNN and MSNBC on holiday card, just like last year

In what's becoming an annual media tradition, Fox News used its holiday card to wish friends and family well this holiday season--and take a swipe at CNN and MSNBC.

The front of Fox News' 2011 card--distributed to media journalists including this one--features a cartoon fox leading ABC, NBC and CBS in a sheep-sled race, with the jockeys for MSNBC and CNN watching from the sidelines. (The idea is that Fox News, the top-rated cable news network, is so far ahead, it's now competing against the the Big Three networks.)

Yahoo News

It isn't the swipe they take at their competitors that interests me, take a look at what each station has pulling their sleds:

Is this Fox's way of saying "our sheep are better than your sheep"?

Just goes to show you what the networks really think about their viewers. Very telling in my opinion.

Nice. I don't see ANY reason why sheep would be pulling any sleds as a sign of Christmas or the holidays. I've never seen sheep being used to pull sleds in real life situations. Oxen, reindeer, horses, cows... OK.... sheep? No. Maybe in some part of the world unknown to me, but I've personally never observed any such thing in pictures, on video or in real life. I can't explain this one.

I take it back.. here's a picture of sheep pulling a sled: Sheep pulling sled disguised as reindeer.

My X-mas wish is that the Krampus might pay a visit to our buddy Rupert. Hook it up, Santa?

From the comments on the cards...

All I see on the card is a bunch of sheep, with networks following the sheep. Pretty much says it all about the media!

But Krampus IS Rupert!

When the Krampus finds a particularly naughty child, it stuffs the child in its sack and carries the frightened child away to its lair, presumably to devour for its Christmas dinner.

This is such a blatant swipe at mainly the American public,

How disrespectful, especially at this time of year

Most won't see this Image, the one's that do probably won't notice the sheep,

And even if they do, most won't get it.

This is the ultimate "Insider Joke".

For us conspiracy theorists, and for the Big Media Corps

F****r's

Merry Christmas all

Needless to say I am absolutely appalled. Most won't get this because they are still asleep. Unfortunate.

Fox Business has their own card with sheep in the background.

Either they think their viewers are all sheep or someone at fox has a sheep fetish.

Maybe they should change their motto to: "Fox news; where men are men and the sheep are nervous".

Foxes are opportunistic predators. If they sensed a sheep is ill, weak or young., they'd go for the kill.

Wow... that could definitely be taken pretty offensively.

Glad I don't pay much attention to mainstream media.

I'm not evil or anything but I kinda like it.

I mean let's be honest, is it not true?

Perhaps it strikes a bit too close to home?

It must be a theme at FOX 'News' - first Ann Coulter said "our blacks are the best", and now FOX is saying their sheeple are the best. Notice the rendering shows all the MSM in a race - to the bottom!

The first card:

Notice how they do not lead the sheep but the push/direct/force the sheep from behind. Symbolic for :
- We do not lead them, we "guide" them, manipulate them.

Not leading but directing from behind may be "smart" but shows also they are actually cowards.

It also shows the power of the sheep, IF they all decide not to run, or alter direction, they could influence the race.

The business card tells about world economics and business:

--The sheep do not play a role at all, a very few might notice, thats all.

Another noticeable thing:

As we see the back of the "Start" banner and it is pictured as a slight see true, we read the "Start" word backwards..

Now how many of you think the news brought by the MSM is mostly the actually reversed side of the truth!?

I do.

I agree! The boldness alone! ; -)

Now why does it takes so much effort to convince the "standard" neighbor?
