Of course not. He CAN be rebelious if he so chooses. That is the state of the world right now. Man rebelling against God's Law. It is Law because it is self enforcing. Like gravity, you will either break upon it, or be crushed by it.

LOL what does it matter... Historically the rich sent the poor to fight in wars to make the rich more money.. OMG nothing has changed...

Really though I think what we have in the western world is a fine blend of the two.....

Fascism is a form of capitalism. State capitalism.

I find it funny that when someone says capitalism has failed the response is that it isn't in really what is in practice. That is the reason for saying that it has failed because it was in practice and has since been corrupted therefore it has failed.

In a perfect world, sure, people can be nice enough to WANT to help others, I wouldn't mind fixing the neighbor's swing set but I'm not going to be on call every time his swing set breaks.

A man's word is a man's bond.
I say again...what about the law of the land? civility? ethics?

You need to research further. We cannot keep doing business as usual. You do not "get it".

You sleep and sleep deeply.

I would bet you do not buy or read political books or watch the videos I have tried to present.

A closed mind and proud heart gathers no knowledge.

Either you are one of the 1% or deeply mind conditioned to serve them.

Sorry, greed does need to be regulated.

Capitalism no longer works, Communism doesn't work, Socialism doesn't work, but a combination - some kind of combining needs to take place.

We cannot keep going on allowing the few to control the many.

Not with 23,000 children starving to death each and every day while some folks have 200 pairs of $200.00 shoes in their closets the size of houses.............come on this logically speaking is pure greed and insane.

Cue the "but communism's bad m'kay" crowd in 3...2...1...

The ugly truth is that people don't want to look into themselves and see these realities. Or even worse, they try to blame those people for their own misfortune all the while not realizing that their own fortunes were gained as a result.

Until we are willing to rip off the band-aid and analyze our true impact on the rest of the world, we'll never get people past the illusion that unchecked and rampant greed is somehow noble.

Very good video.

Walzer is one of the pre-eminent U.S. social scientists of the 20th century. Obviously in a few minutes on video he cannot provide all sorts of nuance and caveats. Why not read one of his books, or at least a journal article, and then add your (informed, well argued) critical comments?

I will enlighten you a bit about the world...EVERYTHING FAILS!

Everything has a failure point whether it by stress, degradation or design.

That goes for ideas as well, believe me I know. I have plenty of patents approved and pending from the USPTO.

This is one of the basic laws of nature.

You are not making much sense in a real life model. Societies are called societies for a reason. They are social groups and it is globally known that ANY social group has predefined and unanimously approved laws of the land, rules for civility and ethics.

From here it gets mighty grey...

I don't know if I would say everything but I would say most, if not all, political ideals. I have yet to see an implementation that has remained true to the plan on paper. If something doesn't go as planned then it is a failure.

What the hell kind of reasoning is that? "If something doesn't go as planned its a failure"?

Lets think of it this way. Your wife has complications in labor. Leading to things not"going as planned".

They cut her open and she and the baby live. Failure?

OOoookkkaaayyyy????

I must refrain from speaking to you from this point forward due to your flagrant and illegal use of my order's light. I tried to keep this discussion well-grounded and generally academically decent.

I leave this discussion and forum TOTALLY free and clear.

If what was planned was a natural birth then yes the natural birth failed and a caesarean section had to be performed.

Of course the ceserean section would be a success but that is extremely simple, and a one shot deal, when compared to a countries economic model which is very complex and must function for extended periods of time. That is why I said: "not everything".
