I've stumbled with this photo a couple of years ago, but only now I had the patience to work it out, make some tweaks and upload it on ATS. Is a hi-def image of Hellas Montes region provided by NASA HiRISE website and zooming in a specific area, we see this (at least I see it):

The tricky part is that NASA cut the area where the statue should be in the image available to download:

hirise.lpl.arizona.edu...

It's only seen in the image browser of HiRISE:

marsoweb.nas.nasa.gov...

Probably not .. almost certainly not actually ..

It's the eyes making patterns from random features on the surface, especially when you throw in the mix of light and shadow .. I don't even really see it, but it's much like seeing faces in the clouds.

Exactly like the mars face. Shadows make even the most typical rock look a-typical.

For the record, the object seem to be about 54.5 meters tall (179 ft). The Statue of Liberty is 305 feet tall (92.96 m).

Just because you are in denying, it doesn't mean it's not there. Unless you can PROVE that's not a statue, the "face in the clouds" explanation is just YOUR opinion.

That image makes the face on Mars look like a portrait , what I mean is there's a lot of join the dots going on to make the statue .
That's not even peridolia , just wishful thinking

In my opinion, which may be wrong, it's a simple case of pareidolia. As much as I would love to hear of the confirmation of intelligent alien life, so far I have yet to be remotely convinced by any supposed evidence offered.

If that is the entire length of the "statue", it would be a very weird humanoid... Judging by the "head" it would be alot shorter.

While I could imagine the head, I dont really see the rest of its parts.

No not because I say so but because it isn't a statue , its a combination of features that you perceive to be a statue

Unless you have been in Mars, and have a photo of that area in Hellas Montes, showing nothing but rocks. The "pareidolia" explanation is pure redundancy and just an opinion, not a fact.
