Putting an END to the 'Ron Paul is racist' claims right here and now. Who will challenge me?

Yes, he is an editor, but I guarantee, he didn't proof read.

Sorry, but that's a ridiculous excuse. Whoever heard of an editor that didn't read his publication?

I don't really care if he knew about it originally. He has known about it for years yet still stumbled badly when the MSM finally focused on his campaign. I'm glad he's in the race bringing up issues no one else will touch. But this shows he might not be able to handle the pressure of being president. He wouldn't be able to take off the mic and walk away.

I guess it doesn't really matter. He had no chance of winning anyway.

One more reason to love ATS.

Thank you Springer, for chiming in. It's not a popular stand you've chosen to make here. I'm dang proud of you

If there is even one person in this thread that can honestly say that the words written in a post under their name do not represent them or how they think or feel, I need to know who you are.

YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE that can make an argument that Ron Paul is not racist.

Where are you?

This was already forecast...nothing new. Same old garbage being thrown out by the drive-by's as was back in 2007/2008. It didn't stick then and it won't stick now.

ImacculateD will never convince me to join his racist ideology. I firmly believe it takes one to know one.

You will never convince me, or probably anyone else that a man who signs his name to a racist article did not mean what he put his name to. I guess we cancel each other out and Immaculated1 wins then?

Fictitious?
Now you are claiming they do not exist?
This thread is a hoax?
The entire premise is a lie?
Is that what you are attempting to put forth>?

Easy to answer.

What makes people think Ron Paul is a racist is simple they were told by MSM that he was.

Nope.

I read the newsletters...

...a couple years ago.

LOL what??? If someone had your login info and made a stupid post, does that represent how you think and feel? Weak. Really weak. No no, of course. The world is a perfect place and there aren't people that mis-represent other people because it's all unicorns and rainbows.

Your comparing posts on an internet forum, to a pretty large newsletter publication in which it is quite common to have 'ghost-writers', particularly in Ron Paul's case, where he had to commit himself to full-time profession as a doctor. It's really not so hard to believe... your grasping.

So here we are, a few anti-Pauls claiming Ron Paul wrote the newsletter hence making him a racist.

But hmmm....Ron Paul has answered, saying, he didn't write the newsletters, disavows them, and takes moral responsibility for them.

Those actions and his actions throughout his entire political career of supporting the black community makes him racist?

sigh.....come on people, you're on your last toe of defense.

I write/wrote my own posts.

Other people wrote Ron Paul's News Letters.

Big difference.

Having grown up in and spent several of years of my adult life in Texas, including building a huge company that employed hundreds of Texans of all political bents, I can ASSURE you if ANYONE believed the tripe in the newsletters was written by Ron Paul he would have NEVER been reelected to Congress.

I'll point out the obvious, as has been pointed out many times already in this thread, if ANY of these views were truly Ron Paul's there would be slips caught on video or audio. With as many hours in front of microphones as RP has it's statistically impossible to hide what he really thinks.

Look at what we can attribute to the man that comes directly from the man, not what simply has his name on it from 20 years ago, that was written by a staffer.

Further, and this is important, if he truly felt this way, to the point he would put it in his newsletter 20 years ago, why hasn't he continued to espouse the same rhetoric? He's changed on NONE of his positions over the years, why would he change on this one?

Don't tell me it's because he knows it would cost him an election, that's simply stupid considering he knew that back in the 1990's too when he supposedly wrote these things.

I am completely convinced this is yet another MSM attempt at wiping out a candidate that scares the HELL out of the establishment.

I have always admired Ron Paul, now I will vote for him if given the chance.

Springer...

Well, the NAACP doesn't think he's racist, nor do his obvious anti-racist policies point to that, rather quite opposite. We'll start with these, but the question is, will YOU watch/listen to them?

The Coming Race War!
www.tnr.com...

Boy, it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer, Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressmen. What an infamy that Ronald Regan approved it! We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day.

So how many Congressmen did he have ghost writting for him?

Fictitious in regards to him authoring the articles in question.

So when Obama was with Bill Ayers (socialist), Reverend Wright (racist) and other unscrupulous characters, its not o.k. for us to question whether or not he espouses those ideals? Is it o.k. for us to keep bringing it up or since he said he was never influenced by any of this that we should just accept him on his word? Because that's precisely what many Obama supporters have done, indicating that he has addressed this and it should be dropped.

Since Eric Holder never prosecuted the black panthers who were intimidating voters, does that mean he espouses the same ideals as the black panthers? If he didn't surely he would have prosecuted them, right?

Yet, Dr. Paul has repeatedly addressed this, but because he's white, the attacks will keep on coming, eh boys?

Sure, how about everything he's ever said in public office!

Go find the evidence yourself. It's out there.

Nice to see the fanatical Ron Paul defense league at work. It's truly amazing how they disregard and ignore all evidence that he is racist. He blatantly wrote all those newsletters, no amount of covering up will change that.
