Describing US VS the Middle East:

In one case you're dealing with humans, who've grown up in relative wealth, known proper education, known the relative freedom to think for themselves in a hyperindividualist society and in the other we're dealing with humans who've grown up in relative poverty, known little to no education, are sometimes discouraged from thinking for themselves and live in a society where the group matters more than the individual.

Of course the Middle East isn't communist, it's more like complete anarchy mixed with a few dictators. Which is how communism works in practice. Haha! Light bulb. Not sure what but I think I might definitely be onto something here.

To make it simple: No, the ME isn't communist

Just like in the West, there's a few guys on top holding all the power/money, while the remainder doesn't have the same benefits. Not that different after all and definitely NOT communist

Here's what communism is:

Communism is a social, political and economic ideology that aims at the establishment of a classless, moneyless, stateless and revolutionary socialist society structured upon common ownership of the means of production.

Since the Middle East totally has different classes, uses money, has states, doesn't have any revolutionary socialist society structured upon common ownership...it's safe to say the Middle East isn't communist.

Communism, as a theory, works fantastically. Take from the rich and give to the poor. A common playing field for all. The theory was built on idealism. Sadly, the human race is not ready for this type of ruling, therefore Communism usually ends in a dictatorship of some sort. Communism does not promote dictatorships.

Another thing about Communism is that it's 'religious' alignment is atheistic. Up to an average of 90% of any Middle Eastern country's population is made up of Muslims. Therefore, The Middle East is most certainly not under Communist rule.

The wealth or poverty extremes should be a sign to you that this is not a true Communist country anyways (the idealistic view being everyone is equal). (The moment the power shifts to a (group) of political leader(s), true Communism is dead in that country.)
