So, as quite of a few of us are living this out, it seems 2011 is a year of hunger, and financial tyranny. Who is responsible for this? The global elite? George W. Bush? Obama? Perhaps the Reptilians (I jest). Who is to blame in one country? Never can get to the one. They hide behind puppets and figureheads. Tony Hayward, fleeing the country after BP under his leadership poisoned the gulf, and probably a larger portion of the Atlantic than they are telling us.
Occupy Wallstreet has done nothing. It's a re-run of the sixties, and we all know how that went. The hippies lost, Nixon got elected, and tyranny reigned until Carter was elected. Of course, Carter was a bit inept, but he had his heart in the right place. Of course, conspiracy was present then, too. Look up Raymond Lee Harvey, a man who was sent to ensure that Carter knew who was really in charge, a man who fired a pistol full of blanks at him in a mall, to send a message that Carter better not change anything of any actual substance in America. If I were Obama, and I wanted to enact any real change, I would fear for my life.
The populace at large has been pacified, and lulled into an artificial reality with video games, fast food, and mass media. It is like the film, They Live. I'd look forward to the end of the world, because atleast the financial bastards who ruined this nation, and the global economy would die out too. I would fiddle while the world burnt. This is the beginning of the end. Natural selection has been done away with, with modern medicine. A short term blessing, but a long term detriment, as more and more of the population multiplies.
And we sleep.

2. money in politics
3. backdoor deals in politics
3. greed in humans
4. lack of compassion in humans
5. etc

You're speaking of all those things in the future tense. They've already happened. We're already living in the dystopia.

I blame lack of leadership and initiative to propogate an era of human freedom worldwide through techonology and scientific exploration ( I wish I could personally do better for the world the best I can do is observe and spread the word wherever the evidence leads me). The world including me whether I know it or not is a target someone wants to sway my perception for better or worse good or bad but as the OP was discussing the threat is very real America is in poverty and the despair part is to all of us to blame.

It's the spirit of the age. The great wells of oil that we once so readily exploited are beginning to run dry. The system was built on petrochemicals. Without those petrochemicals, the system begins to wither up and die like a flower without water. Unless we can convert to an alternative energy source in a very rapid timeframe, I see a very bleak end for the American era of dominance. Perhaps rightly so. My country was built on the slaughter of the Indians, but as an American, I am rightfully quite squeamish about the collapse of America. I can only hope and pray to escape out from under it before the supports give way, and I'm trapped in the rubble. Perhaps it is too late. Perhaps not. God only knows.

The worst of it all, the money is there, plenty of companies post good profits, but they only go to those who can afford to own the stock. Maybe all those people working minimum wage, should go on strike or quite their job and negoatiate that a portion of the profits is payed out as a bonus each quarter to the workforce. 20% is a good startingpoint. They worked hard they generated the profits, they work on a wage they cant live on, why shouldnt they negotiate for a portion of the profits they generate? What good is 20 Million more to a billionaire going to do He can still get that yacht, when he gets only 16 Million in dividends.

Well, if you cut into a CEO's pay, that's less for them to trickle down their yellow stream of economics onto the heads of the commoners from on top of their ivory towers. Lord knows they deserve several orders of magnitude larger pay raises than the average man, I mean, sitting in an office making phone calls all day is tough work. Way tougher than working in a war zone, or breaking your back mining coal, or lifting patients out of beds and into gurneys. Nope. CEOs go above and beyond, in their sitting at a desk making phone calls to other rich folks. They DESERVE the wealth, and anyone saying anything about equality, or having representation for the common man is a filthy communist, and probably a criminal. Best to send them off to a private prison just in case.

I think it is because it is time to learn that the world experience is subjective. it is all in the Mind. What we think and accept and believe, that is what we will see. Our inner turmoil causes 'the world' to reflect that chaos and upset. We see what we be. Its just a one way mirror. We change our perspective on things and awaken to see that the world is out picturing of our inner state of beliefs, then when we know 'we' control the 'picture' with or by things we accept about the Life. If we accept the lies that the world is objective and that 'others' are the cause of our problems, then we see that lie perpetuated and growing 'out there' and 'we' reflect what appears as 'persons' out there who do bad things, start wars, hate on each other

And by our own mistaken sense of being a 'lowly worker bound to the authorities who run things then we "produce" the sense of being an unequal, poor, struggling guy who has to bow and bend to the corrupt, controlling governments, or economy, or authoritarian, crazy religions.

When we find our freedom within, we will see that freedom in the mirror we call our world.

Life is subjective, we see what we accept as true and we behave as we believe.

We are the world we walk through. If you want to see things change, you can begin by changing the beliefs about 'who you are' to begin with. We have been fed falsehoods, and fed lies, and we have been duped into thinking we have no power--- We have been believing that the world is an objective experience. Don't buy the lies any more. You hold all the power because the world is not 'out there'--- It is within you and so you can change 'out there' by 'how and what you accept as true about your self.

For me, it begins with Faith that I am the Child of God and so I am worthy of His Grace in my Life and I trust My Self as I have Divine DNA. How much more wonderful than to be The Child of the Living Truth, just think of the Wealth and Beauty and Wonder and Love and Joy of being The Father's Child living in His Kingdom--- We pick up our scepter and claim our power, we become our own authority, we trust in our self and believe in our rightful inheritance. And we Live It and we watch and see 'out there' slowly, but surely change for the better.

I forgot wanting more money and negotiating for it in an intelligent and oranized way is communist. All hail capitalism, where the majority works for roughly the same minimum wage.

Yes, yes. All hail capitalism, our god-king and master. Hail the arch-angel, Ronald Reagan, for it is he who was the second coming of Christ himself. Regulation is the anti-christ. Why should the poors have any say in what the minimum wages are? It's not them who pay the salaries and the bribes of the congressmen who make the regulation in regards to that. They ought to bend over, grin, and bear it. They deserve the reaming they get from their corporate overlords and masters. Don't they know that they're the property of the corporations? How dare they demand a wage they can actually afford food AND rent on? They ought to be satisfied with one or the other. Anything else is just plain greedy. Anything else detracts from the profits that corporations rightfully make off of the sweat and tears of the worthless and rightless proles. To hell with the proles. They're not even real people.

Blame a bit the western consumer too, whom when he does not take advantage of the low low prices that are made possible by moving production to countries where people are ruled with an iron fist, bemoans the fact that those jobs move. Not because the people work for an abyssmal wage, but because they feel they should have no job at all and eat cake and die. Instead they should find ways so the people in those countries can emanicpate themselves more, gain similiar rights to the people in Europe in America, so that the incentive for exporting jobs dimnishes.

East, west, north, south, you can't escape it anymore because of globalization.
