BS! They are trying to form their own political Party! Really, for someone who has ALL the knowledge of OWS at your disposal, you sure dont look for information,to back what you say.

You are claiming we are looking to become a political organisation? LOL

Source link something? This is a LIE!

I do not have all the knowledge never claimed to. Do you? You clearly don't wknow what you are talking about hence the political claim. This is actually a new one, a new lie. Im actually surprised you are using new lies and have abandoned regurgitating your failed rebuttals. Anyhoo i would like to see you back up your claims. So please provide your case and not more hearsay it's getting old.

Yes, It's quite a shock that sitting around and doing nothing had little to no effect on the general population... Unless you count a small portion of the people who had to find an alternate route to work everyday.

I can only speak from my personal experiences at "Occupy Toronto". Drug use was out of control as most of the city's gangs entrenched someone as a protester to handle sales. Ditto can be said about Drunk and Disorderly conduct (Even I am not innocent of that last one)

The protesters set up as many tents as they could, most of them remained empty for the duration. I showed up with nothing but a backpack with a few changes of clothes, and within 30 minutes I was set up with a tent, the real kicker being that I had a choice from about 40-50,

The camp was also used as a podium for any nutcase who wanted to speak his mind. I heard suggestions to segregate schools again, Civil Unrest, Riot and declaring a genocide on the 1%

The biggest shock in my eyes, was the secret hierarchy the Occupy Toronto movement had. If you wanted to do ANYTHING protest wise, you needed the permission of a "Direct Action Council." For a movement that was supposed to be "Leader Free". It always seemed like the same people we're calling the shots.

Guess honesty was far from being the best policy

So, are you trying to say that it is a good thing for the Chinese to occupy the Internet with paid spies, and does that actually have anything to do with the OWS movement? You can thank Obama and his radical communist administration and his followers for the attempts at controlling the Internet with varied methods including but not limited to: shutting down hundreds of websites claiming they are pirates, but many of them were conservative bloggers criticizing his admin, trying to pass Net Neutrality, the Killswitch, the cash for clunkers site with the link giving the govt the authority to claim your machine as their property, the continued monitoring of facebook and arresting people who don't like Obama, the hacking of Sarah Palin's email by a Democrat operative, co-opting Google and others into censorship and tracking.
And then there was the attempt at controlling talk radio by demanding that liberal talk shows have equal air time as conservative ones(if that aint nanny statism I don't knwo what is).

Oh yah Google did help the Chinese with filtering their Internet, so it makes sense they do it in the US too.

Nice shade of "socialism red" there..................

Isn't it the republicans that always wear red ties?

so much for ol red white and blue
edit on 22-12-2011 by Unknown Soldier because: (no reason given)

You're not real big on history or research, I see. That's pretty sad, especially in light of the fact that it wasn't that long ago.

Prior to the elections of 2000, red ALWAYS represented the left. Everything from the US Democrat Party to the Soviet Communist Party. The entire range of political thought that leaned to the left was characterized by the color red. The Republicans were represented by the color blue. Even on the election maps, red was left, blue was right.

It was that way for the entire history of the left-right paradigm.

Until election 2000. At that point, suddenly, without warning or explanation, the color scheme changed.

Did it have to do with the leftist Neocon takeover of the Republicans? Did it have to do with a concerted effort to muddy the waters and confuse the populace? Did it have to do with the Marxist reinvention of themselves and attempt to dissociate the associations they had made? Did it have to do with all of the above? Who knows. No explanation was ever forthcoming, but the fact remains hanging in the air that it happened.

That was only 11 years ago. How old are you that you cannot remember that, such a short time ago?

Yeah....
You never hear such things at Occupy...

Actually, just saw a bunch of skinny white folks with a bunch of Starbucks cups angry at wealthy people.

What channel were you watvhing?

I dont even like star bucks, what is with the star bucks thing any way? Is coffee drinking such a non American thing now? Is this a tea party vs strabucks party thing to you? So if tea is better then coffee then why hasn't tea accomplished any reform either?

Well i did not see a bunch of coffee chugging teenagers at my occupy. Just a bunch if average janes and joes showing disgust in this failed system. Longing for justification and spreading awareness to other people passing them by.

I like tea and coffee why cant i have both huh? Apparently the red scare comes in a can of folgers people

Heck I remember before the 2000 election you could watch CNN and Republicans might be Blue this year, Dems Red. Then you switch to MSNBC and Republicans might be Red this year and Dems Blue. Then you go to Fox and it might be mixed again.. then your local news station will show them differently.

I wonder what caused all the media giants to decide color coordination was needed..

Well we did not have that in Chicago and gangs run deep there, drugs and things of that sort. Not saying that does not happen. Des Moines was very moderate.

The protesters set up as many tents as they could, most of them remained empty for the duration. I showed up with nothing but a backpack with a few changes of clothes, and within 30 minutes I was set up with a tent, the real kicker being that I had a choice from about 40-50,

Well that does not sound like the "drum beating hippies" we are being told are sitting around singing kumbayah my lord. I would honestly say that my local occupy would not agree with any of this and none of what he is saying is about what OWS means. He sound like a right wing neo con. I am sure many of them are and have tried to hijack OWS and instigated violence and mayhem.

Yeah i am sure any nut case can get up there and say anything he wants. As well as anyone else with a voice of opinion. It's good to hear that people have a podium to speak from. We are not allowed to have megaphones.

Would not want the lemmings to hear our voice now

Sounds very much unlike my local occupy, with that i take this with a grain of salt.

Well at least you showed up right?

There will be no more protests or revamping old tp or ows movements...we are dead... we should all just pack our bags and get off this sinking poop log, IMHO!
