The Occupation has Failed

Occupy hasn't failed, I think that's the wrong way to look at it. I look at it more like the media winning, spreading dissinfo and playing it down as much as possible, making the protesters look bad and the darling little boys in blue look good. Brain fodder for those who can't be bothered to find out for themselves.

It hasn't failed at all. IIRC I saw some stats somewhere (can't remember where) but there have been over 1000 occupied locations in 82 different countries. If that is even close to being right, then this is a huge succsess for a first wave type event. And there will be more waves, and they will get bigger. You don't have to take my word for it, becasue, well, I might even be wrong. (It actually happened once back in 1982) I can't tell the future, but I got a tingly feeling that won't quit, it's exited about what's happening. And Anon (who have already helped out in taking out 2 goverments) have promised that 2012 is going to be epic. I have faith in the Anon ideal, the people will reclaim their rights and create a better world for everyone.

OP, out of curiosity, did YOU visit an occupy site YOURSELF to do YOUR OWN research on the movement instead of coming online (meibe even watching MSM news too) and reading others opinions on the movement which may have helped to construct your own?

at the end of the day weather the movement has accomplished something or not, THEY TRIED, CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO CHANGE ANYTHING?
or meibe nothing is wrong, at all, and we live in a world of flying unicorns and friendly witches.



when i found out about this movement i was nothing more than sensational about it, considering that i am not a big fan of wall street, corporations and the fed. and no one was doing ANYTHING ABOUT IT. this movement gave me a chance to express myself in many ways. even tho i DID NOT agree with everything they were doing, i did have a chance to voice my own opinion to change that.

MEIBE INSTEAD OF JUST COMING ON HERE AND VILIFYING ABOUT THE MOVEMENT YOU SHOULD OF GONE TO THEIR GENERAL ASSEMBLIES TO VOICE YOUR OWN OPINION AND HELP THE MOVEMENT BE STRONGER AND IN CONVENIENCE FOR ALL OF US.

at the end, MSM was against them and would vilify about them any chance they could.
i kinda knew myself it wouldn't get too far because of that reason.

Last time i looked there aren't any rocket scientists in OWS in fact they are the products of liberal America and the Educational system.

The "occupation" (ironic as most probably had no occupation) was a complete joke as were the people who took part.

It proved nothing beside the fact that the Elite and Rich had something more to look down on the average person about.

It was all about individuals attempting to gain some attention and in that itself they failed like they do in real life.

actually the whole "if you aren't with us you're against us" was pretty foolish of the protesters, i do have to admit that. i never myself used that line.

can you tell me where in the poster you see it says "we are the 99%", ANYWHERE?

that's one of the things I DISAGREED WITH ABOUT THE MOVEMENT and was able to voice my opinion on that. didn't prevent me to from participating in it tho.

It's not just corporations that lobby, labor unions, groups supporting this or that special cause. In the end the worst threat to the American people is the American people. OCCUPY is not a organisation, funny how so many critics like yourself complain about occupy being so disorganised having no leadership then call it an organisation. As someone who isn't caucasion, I've been forced into "groups" and "categories"s all my life.

How? Ive noticed most blacks, latinos and asians in the city tend to stick together. But sometimes you will find one of each in a group of Caucasians. Unlike the token white guy "me" running with a bunch of black guys. You see nobody forced me to have most black friends. I just happened to grow up on a block with mostly black families.

The majority of Americans (you know…the ones who go to work) are not down there protesting because they don’t want to be seen with communists and all the others “ists” and “isms” that frequent these events. Most Americans fully support many of the things OWS initially stood for. When the freaks came out and joined the party the normal people went home.

The people who don’t understand why OWS has a bad image and has lost support are the same people who just don’t understand why a dude with a Mohawk can’t seem to find a 9-5 job!
