You did it too.
Regardless of how you sliced it, you made it important. You aren't important enough for us to care if we are on your Christmas card list either, so that was your "cliched", though we say cliche so please. Plus who deemed importance? You.

You aren't even making grammatical sense. My Christmas card reference was intended to be lighthearted, to take the edge off an opinion that is likely to offend. I'm not sure how that's comparable to you taking my post as a personal insult? Perhaps I'm just thick!

The point, regardless of your bigotry

I'm not a bigot. A bigot would imply belief or opinion in spite of reason or logic. You're again throwing subjective impact words around, without any respect for their meaning.

("I don't like" is the same thing just watered down for the censors)

Having a dislike of something is not the same as hating something. And of course I self-censor - and what? I'm sure many people would love to make a few choice comments towards me, but won't, because we're adults and ATS have rules.

Your argument seems to be "you've broken the TOS, except you haven't broken the TOS literally, but I know mentally you're breaking the TOS!". Basically you want to see me banned for thought-crimes!

you weren't going to post anything about you because others could say hateful things about you just like other people on this site.

No, see, you seem to think criticism or dislike of your nation or people as a collective is a direct attack upon you, but I don't. People may say whatever they like about England, so long as it's founded in truth.

By all means, say "hateful" things about England - I haven't been brainwashed since birth into being a slave to the nation.

You are no better than us because you have the same plus some there. Just like cliched and cliche, its the same thing.

But I am better than the average American, in my opinion, in criteria that I value. Are you getting the hang of opinions yet? You seem to spew yours, trying to shout down mine, without any realisation of the irony.

So should I say all those things about you and post facts? Would that not be exactly what the OP is talking about only now we are doing it to each other?
No different and not better - just the same cliched.

Do you even know what a cliche is? You keep saying 'cliche', 'cliched', without making any actual god damned sense!

If something about me is true, post it, that's your right. If you don't like that I'm a Socialist it's your right to take issue. If you don't like that I think declawing cats is inhumane, that's your right. If you don't like that I'm Atheist, it's your right. Etc etc.

Now, love for you to back your Facts up with links, on every single American.

CAN YOU EVEN READ? Seriously, can you read? I said in my original post that I was speaking in generalities, I acknowledged that there are exceptions(to the tune of millions of Americans, I'm sure). I even made a post predicting that somebody would try to make out like I'm slandering every American. I cannot believe this. Have you been reading my posts?

Please, do not respond to me again. Even the members who agree with you about me are shaking their head, they're asking why oh why did you have to put your hand up and be the representative American.

I read a book once that outlined a strategy to create anti-American feeling around the world by deception and misinformation, while also creating divisions within America.

It also suggested that Germany and it's sidekick France should gain control of Europe while Britain should be excluded.

Kinda can't help looking at the world we live in today, and see those things taking shape.. rising anti-Americanism, greater divisions appearing within the USA.

Anyone wants to look up the book, it's one of the textbooks taught in the Russian General Staff Academy called "The foundations of geopolitics" by Aleksandr Dugin

The book was published in 1997. The things you mention have been taking shape for decades before the book was published.

It would be like me writing a book in 2011 telling how anti-Israel opinion will grow and continents will unite politically

The point is you suggested that the book you'd read was making some sort of prediction, predictions that are coming to fruition(France - Germany)... Yet the book was published in the late 90's, decades after anti-American sentiment and German influence over the EU had been reality.

You said, and I quote, "Kinda can't help looking at the world we live in today, and see those things taking shape.." ---------------- Yet these things you speak of had already taken shape tens of years before the book was released.

You can't predict or outline something that is going to happen, that has already happened. Is my point not clear?

Well then, since youre all about Americanism and the ability to say what you think.......here is mine...

I love my country, I love my freedoms........

I believe that people should be allowed to express what they want, we dont have to like it......but trying to shut up decent just because you dont like it is despicable.........

So some people dont like America........so what?

People dont like your ideas.....so what?

There are plenty of people on here that I vehemently disagree with on almost EVERYTHING, but you know what, on a weekly basis we sit in chat and cut up and talk........

Thats called seeing past your differences.......and realizing people are human and generally good, despite their views, whether you deem them correct or not....

IMHO..........this thread is the biggest piece of hypocritical drivel ive seen in quite a while.....

Ive watched you espouse one thing after another in threads.....

Ive watched you display clear ignorance of the constitution and what America is about...

And ive watched you do EXACTLY what you say you hate.........PERSONALLY attack people who do not agree with you , and viciously try to brow beat them into agreeing with your ideals......

Those in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.....

I am sure you know the book has nothing to do with prediction and/or prophecy, but rather outlining a potential geostrategy, one that was set out to counter the perceived American and/or European geostrategies. so I not only disagree with the points you are labouring to make but given that the book outlines picking up the existing anti-Americanism and using it, it also picks out Germany and France for the exact some reason if it wasn't already taken shape it would be pretty useless as a strategy
