Gorgeous! Thank you so much for posting that!!!
I have taken your sharing to another thread on which I am participating in a debate about Christian methods.
Hope you don't mind. (I gave you full credit and linked to your post).

Thats truly breath taking they're fortunate to see that moment. The creators of it (pre druid?) may not have had writing (that I'm aware of) but they still say alot about themselves to their decendents and I'm probably one of them so thanks for sharing that.

The culture has not been completely destroyed.

Reification fallacy. "Nature" has no mind therefore cannot "provide" anything whatsoever.

I am going to remember your interjections - - - every time a Christian complains about non-Christians jumping into threads not about them.

No probs - happy to have done something helpful

You and riley might be interested in an app for the ipad and iphone that gives a virtual tour of Stonehenge. This article explains all the features:

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Quote from article:

The site uses 3D digital 'models' so users can do things that visitors simply can't - such as excavating down through layers of the site to reveal artefacts such as a 'flesh hook' and a solid gold breast plate found at the site.
All the 3D views of the site can be controlled via pinching and zooming on screen to let you 'walk' through Stonehenge - without the fences that usually keep visitors far from the stones.
You can stand in the middle of the stones, and an 'acoustic model' also captures what it sounds like to stand there.

I know that but 25th of December is as good as day as any. Especially when its a great day to share the gospel with people and get people to focus there attention on Christ.
