Poor Canada.. they have nowhere else really to ship their oil.

They wanted to ship it to the USA which has a much larger capacity to refine it. We'd buy the oil and send oil products like gasoline and unrefined oil on to Asia. Canada doesn't have any capacity on the West Coast to construct refineries or huge oil exporting facilities without a ton of time and money.. the pipeline option is so much cheaper and easier. And profitable for both parties. Obama is a moron, he is only stopping the pipeline because some of his largest funders swore to remove all funds from his campaign unless he veto'd the pipeline. The hilarious thing is, he will have to eat his words and approve it, his stance is to far ridiculous. Had he not assisted in destroying the Gulf of Mexico and backing BP over safe environmental cleanup his environmental base wouldn't have abandoned him. Dumbass.

No, but even Iran has your drone technology, and I wouldn't be too worried if we were to accidentally lose one of your trident missiles and they gained that technology too.
