Obama slams Venezuela, Iran, Cuba

en.trend.az

US President Barack Obama slammed the government of Venezuela and its allies Iran and Cuba in a written interview that the Venezuelan daily El Universal published Monday, dpa reported.

"It's unfortunate that the Venezuelan government is often more interested in revisiting the ideological battles of the past than looking forward to the future that we could build for our citizens," Obama said.

The response by the President comes a week after a US Spanish network supposedly uncovered a plot in which Iran is said to be running a cyber war aimed at American vital infrastructure from Mexico.

Although the article is directed to El Universal in response of the right's of Cuban's in the US, the President does make remarks about Venezuela and there vague interest in cooperating with Washington in the fight against drug trafficking and terrorism.

Welcome to American Diplomacy 101.

Do what we say, or we'll tell the world lies about your government and it's leaders. I think the US is still butt hurt that Venezuela through out big oil and stopped exporting their oil and stopped importing from other nations.

It's not the US' business who they do business with.

So if your neighbor killed your mother, stomped on her grave and excremented on it. One should feel pushed to forgive your neighbor because the past does not matter and only the future actions of your neighbor matters at all. ...

Bring that logic to the country in question, and ask what they think.

Oh gee, I knew Iran and Cuba were not under Rothchild banking yet, and someone asked me what about Venezuela, so there have it, still 3 left.

Why don't we actually invest in some bullhorns and let the leaders know what we really think 24/7?

Also Rothchilds and their subsiduaires have probably got reams on record that could be delclared crimes against humanity. Arrests????

The President is only bringing to light activities their own interests are involved in, drug trafficking and terrorism...

Obama must be nervous about picking fights on the other side of the world and having their mates living across the street!

But I thought Obama was a socialist. He should be best friends with Cuba and Venezuela

What I don't understand (among 1000 other things) is why he would do this. Didn't he run this through the State Department? Or is he shooting from the hip?

What does the US gain from this? Does he expect to start an "Arab Spring" in each of those countries? Is he trying to shed American influence as quickly as possible so that the US is no longer a power? Is he trying to set up the next Administration for likely foreign policy problems?

Hey! Some of you experienced guys. What is he thinking?

Maybe he just isn't as much a fan of Cuban cigars as Bill Clinton was?

Obama is posturing his foreign policy positions for the election season. There's nothing more to think of it.

Obama is a puppet. Nothing more, nothing less. He is a fictional character created to eventually take the fall for the final destruction of what was once a great nation but is now a fascist police state.

He has no past that can be readily identified. He has been shown to use a fake SSN. His birth certificate is still in question no matter how much his fanboys like to claim it is not. His entire past is a mystery and millions of Federal Reserve Notes have been spent to keep his past shrouded.

He slams nothing that his masters don't tell him to slam. He is a ghost and is no more the leader of "the free world" than is Captain Crunch.

When Obama speaks, I yawn. I find it to be a disservice that such an obvious shill was installed as POTUS. At least those who truly control things could have put forth a more convincing moron that him. It is what it is.

Let him slam whomever he wishes. At the end of the day, it really doesn't mean squat.

He loves to hug it out with Chav whenever they are together. What the heck is going on...can he make up his mind already? Or does he just mean he wants Chav to buckle down and get crack-a-lakin on the Socialism thing?

Another thought....Totus up and ran away and now O is gone rogue.

Good luck buddy.

That's just it...there is no coherent policy. Can anyone here, in just a few sentences, simply state what Obama's foreign policy is?

He was gonna pull us out of Iraq...and 3 years and a few more casualties he finally does, but only because the Iraqi's wouldn't negotiate our staying.

He has pushed Pakisatn from our camp into siding with their new allies...the Chinese.

He continues to snub Israel, yet holds the vaguest of ties with them to maintain the Jewish Democratic vote.

One month he is friends with Ghadafi...who called Obama a brother. A couple of years later, Obama is presiding over his death.

He was literally in the arms of Chavez a couple of years ago, now Obama is condemning him.

Cuban Healthcare was the model and standard for the world just a couple of years ago. now we have issues with them over human rights?

We support the "Arab Spring" in Egypt...now the Egyptian Army is literally stomping and stripping the people of Egypt...

We call the Muslims factions overthrowing these gov ernments "moderates" and our friends, yet seem suprised when they emerge as extreme Muslim Brotherhood countires installing "sharia law" and extreme interpretations of Muslim religious law...and we are shocked.

We have pissed on diplomacy with England, France, germany, Russia...to the point that we are now on the verge of the Cold War...Part Deux.

Frankly, I have no idea what Obama's Foreign Policy is...unfortunately, Obama does not either.

The only 3 countries that the USA has interest in and can't control at all!
Of course they will be slamming them, he wants the media to portrait those countries as "evil" so that USA can have an excuse to put their noses where it doesn't belong!

You beat me to it!
Let's add to the mix that Venezuela has just received its first shipment of gold back...from UK, with more to come from US! Which the US probably can't deliver!
